You're assuming that those pieces aren't added during installation. It wouldn't make sense (to me anyway) to have them on during transport as they could get bent.

You also have to consider that the water on an Aquatrax can be turned off. ;)

Good thing they never built that snake river falls then! Man, the line for that on a cold opening day in May of 1993 would not have been the 1 1/2 hour wait that it was.....oh wait ;)

I rode my aquatrax last year in November, now that was cold, fun, but cold.

But you also have to consider, why would they build Aqua trax in Northern Ohio, which would give the ride about a 3 month season, May, September and October being to cold to ride because you get wet. They are building something people can ride throughout the entire season and something that will increase there ticket sales. Not alot of people want to get wet when going to a theme park in Ohio. It be a good Idea for florida or somewhere down south, I'de have to rule it out.

You don't get too wet on an aquatrax, they can also control how much water gets spayed on the riders. So if it is cold out you can turn the water on low so it makes a splash but doesn't get the passengers that wet or you can just turn the splash off all together.

HOLY CRAP!?!?!? The riders get spayed!?!? OUCH!

spayed - To remove surgically the ovaries
from Anglo-Norman 'espeier', to cut with a sword

^ That has got to be one severe ride element. On the other hand, free health care!

than what would be the point of having an aquatrax, trust me, when you get "lightly sprayed" in 50-60 degree weather, it won't feel nice. Like I said a big ride like this isn't meant for Northern Ohio Weather. and Plus, it doesn't go along with the western theme. when I think of a western theme, I think sand not water.

So are we going to have sand sprayed over us? And sand will be filled in the pond then? ;)

Don't the trains have to be going slow in order to go through those transitions?
Not excited yet, tell us the specs.........

All my life I've been an obese man trapped inside a fat man's body

haha, that's a good one SFSKnights, I've given valid reasons why I wouldn't be aquatrax (like the face that I know alot of people don't like water rides because they come out soaked smelling like fish) also, even with a little water, think about the drainage they would have to incorporate in the ground. All I saw was them putting in water. Lik I said, it's not gonna be aquatrax.

sorry, I said water at the end, I meant footers* rip me apart for it, I know

Walt - Construction is moving along REALLY slow. By next year, it looks like they're in the same exact spot. :)
