All of the supports that have been put into place have them. The reason they're used is because the rebar is much smaller than the holes it goes through on the support. This also allows for some give, making it a bit easier to construct the ride.

DrunkinMonkey, typically they're annouced with a press release and an artists's rendering. An animated version is sometimes included (mostly with coasters). I would think that this would pretty much be the same.

it just might be the pics. i have not seen it in person for a few weeks now. there could be alot of changes done to the site when you see it day to day(week to week) or whatever. its hard to tell bye pictures sometimes.
