I personally like Wave Swinger back in Frontier Town. If there was any other place I'd pick to move it to, it would be on the Frontier Trail. They could find some room in there somewhere.

Not sure about the UR DADE hunted house
Sounds accurate, I could see that happen. I agree that Wave Swinger should stay in the Frontier area. I don't think I would like it as much in DD's spot. I still hope they can keep Antique Cars.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
It's been rumored for up to 4 years now that Wave Swinger was going to be relocated. I really wouldn't have too much of a problem with that, but I'd like to see it stay in Frontiertown, and I certainly wouldn't want to see it leave the park.
As for the Antique Cars, many people know that that was rumored to be on its way out. While I could easily understand why they'd do that, for the ride, I really prefer the Antique Cars over the Cadillac Cars and would be very saddened to see them leave.
And based on what I've seen around the park first-hand, I wouldn't be surprised at all if UR DADE was on it's way out, and I'd be willing to bet the Frontier Inn wouldn't be too far behind...

I think Wave Swinger would look interesting down the Frontier Trail. There aren't any rides of any kind from SRF to MF. Its a quiet and peaceful ride that I think would fit nicely there. No I don't have any specific location ideas...that is for the park to decide. ;)

My own feelings are that Frontier Trail will remain unchanged and Frontier Town will shift towards a more early 1900's/Americana feel. Notice all of the new sunshades and bunting going up back there, not to mention Skyhawk's color scheme. I think that is where the "We're going in a whole new direction" idea is leading.
UR Dade very well may leave. They did say there was going to be a new Halloween area near the front of the park. That would be logical if construction makes it impossible to use the back of the park, and that building is sort of blocking the view of the new ride.
zcorpius - i've had the same feeling about the americana thing for a while now. i'm glad to see others share that thought. it only makes sense with what they're doing. especially with red track. i hadn't made the connection to the "new direction" signs though. good thinkin'.
So if these rumors are true about Wave Swinger and Antique Cars, then what happens to that one round building that's sitting next to wave swinger? Does that stay? Honestly I think Antique cars is in a good location where it's at and I'd rather see them build around Antique Cars. Wave Swinger I could live with being relocated as long as it stayed in the same area it's at now. To me this looks like a Floorless, but I could be wrong.
It looks like a floorless? A bunch of footers in the ground and a Intamin track looks like a floorless?
Where do people get this stuff?

Unless Intamin makes their own version of a floorless, we can safely bet the next ride wont be a flooless.

Unless you consider the rumored new Intamin wing-walkers floorless... or would they be inverted? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

Some rumors are just that, rumors, that thing was patented over 5 years ago. On top of that, read through this document: http://v3.espacenet.com/textdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=WO0108769&F=0&QPN=WO0108769
and let me know how that thing got associated with intamin in the first place ;)

What does it matter that it was patented 5 years ago?
That train has two wings, each holding two passengers. That's four passengers, for those without a calculator handy. They are hanging from the side of the train.
two + two
sidewindin'
Was that too subtle? ;)

You may very well be right about the design you posted there being old and unassociated with Intamin but also consider that www.rcdb.com belives there to be some validity to the idea of PortAventura getting an Intamin with newly designed trains which could be considered "wing-walkers" until further details are revealed. Of course Im not sure that anything has been confirmed as of yet so keep an open mind as with all ideas/rumors/ and clues that come up on these sites.
