So defintley take what I am about to say with a grain of salt.. but also think about it.

So Yesterday I decide to ride the train to see the area... the row ahead has a cedar point employee... who walks around .. rides the rides.. etc and gets park goers feedback.... so anyways

we pass Millenium Force she brings up cable issues.

Then we get to the 2007 site... and shes like.. you know what this going to be, I cant tell you she says.. but then she does say I can tell you that a small part of it will go out over lake erie...

then after that topic she brought up the fact that Cedar fair singed for paramount that morning..( I did not know this yet cause I was at the park)

But anyways.. the point of my post was the 2007 part.... what are the chances of it going out over Lake erie... possibility yes... or maybe no.

Just thought Id bring it up.

Remeber I am not saying yes or no.. but maybe it would make for a interesting discussion.

I do not think it can because the lake freezes right? Then again, bridges have footers. I thought I remember this being brought up before and it is a no. Besides, wouldn't they already have put footers in the lake then by now? I dunno

Every coaster that they have built since the 70's has been rumored to go over lake erie. Why cant people just wait for the magnum to sink a lil more? then part of it will be over lake erie ;)

Besides, Lake Erie is on the other side of the park, The side of the park the new ride is being built on is Sandusky Bay.

True. I forgot that was the bay on that side.

so, in all of the track that's arrived, isn't it theoretical that some supports should be shipped too...i mean i know the supports aren't a huge deal but it's interesting that none have arrived yet....

Seasonals don't know.

Keep in mind that they're not necessarily storing everything in the nice, neat, convenient, publicly viewable storage area by Breakers Express. If they want to keep something hidden, I have no doubt whatsoever that they could do it. They put those tracks there on purpose, they're probably not going to put everything there.

2006 CP Visits: Lost count...
Next visit: May 13th...?

Why not?

We regularly see parks store arriving parts in nearby fields or parking lots until they attach them to their final spot during construction.

Technically sandusky bay is still part of lake erie, thats like saying Chesapeake isn't part of the atlantic ocean. This however still doesn't give anymore validity to the rumor

IMO:

Family attraction. That's Intamin narrow gage track. No? Looks like it. Although i haven't seen it in person.

Interesting. very interesting

Maybe thats why they have started construction on it so early. If it is going into the bay it would be easier to do that part of the ride if the water is still warm.

The ride will actually go out into the water, where it will head toward Canada. After a quick MCBR in Canada, its off to Europe, where there will be a second lift hill, before it then magically switches from a sit-down coaster to an Intamin prototype levitation coaster. Once the transformation is complete, it will head back toward Sandusky, via a complex track system that deviates into space, loops around the moon and then dives straight down toward CP, finally arriving at the Lemon Chill stand.

Brandon

Uh huh..... but inevitably the water will get cold at some point and that's where the problem is. ;)

dj..hilarious post!..you ,of course, know they'd HAVE to name it Enterprise though.

Seasonals only know some details. Some seasonals know some very significant details because they must.

They, however, do not talk.
