Uniforms!

It's been awhile since I've been to Cedar point...I don't remember what the employee uniforms look like? Can anyone describe them?!?!? Thanx!!! :)

Depends on where you work...

Rides (most of them) - Blue Shorts.. Red shirts with blue trim. (Paddlewheel/Camp Snoopy/DT/CP&LE RR/ Challange Park all have thier own)

Lifeguards - Teal suits

Pet Farm - Red shirts with blue bib-shorts

Merch. - White/Blue/Red striped shirt with Tan shorts.

Games - Turquoise/Purple/blue shirts with dark blue shorts.

Services - Yellow shirts with tan shorts.

Foods - Varries on your location if I remember correctly. (i.e. Garter vs. Fridays vs. Coasters)

Housekeeping - Light blue~green shirts and white pants. (some have pink tops instead)

Tolls crew - Yellow shirts with white stripe and tan shorts

Maintnence - Blue pants with blue shirts with names sewn on them.

CP Police - White shirts w/ black pants.

Supervisors - White or Grey shirts with pants. Varies on the department.

Pretty sure that's what it is.. one of those things you see everyday and just kind of blank out on. There may be a few others..

Park Admissions -- Navy blue shirts with teal and magenta trim, teal shorts.

Amusement park uniforms can get some mileage. It isn't fun to think about.

When I worked at Walt Disney World I was once given a uniform that had a DisneyLAND tag in it. I don't want to know how long that uniform had been around.

Of course, polyester has the shelf life of plutonium.

I am surprised that I got my bonus check when I turned in my uniform at the end of the season. Got to love rayon!

I think Camper Village employees have forest green tops and tan shorts.

Cash Control -- Green and white tops with tan pants.

Laundry (on-Point) -- Purple tops with tan shorts.

Employee Housekeeping -- Light blue short-sleeve blouses with white pants or shorts.

Employee Shuttle -- Light blue polo shirts and navy shorts or pants.

(It's crazy to think about how many different uniforms there really are; really puts the Wardrobe employees' jobs in perspective, eh -- no wonder they keep looking in that big binder at the beginning of the season!)

housekeeping and laundry at for Express and Radisson would be housekeeping males- dark blue shorts,pants and white shirts and the females have them wondeful green tops and white pants...Launrdy has the same as housekeeping males :)

Jon, you can blame some of that on me. I forgot also. He was asking me what half of the uniforms were and I did mention the admissions one but I guess he didn't hear me say it..

This thread brings back horrifying memories of the brown (rayon or nylon?) polyester pants that FT food services employees used to wear. Pockets sewn shut! Hot non-absorbant material worn in a 100 degree kitchen. Those pants are probably in perfect condition 22 yrs later at the bottom of a Sandusky landfill or are on the body of some poor homeless person that got them from a shelter that CP may have donated them to. Those pants were indestructable!

I'm working at CP this year in wardrobe. What will wordrobe's uniform look like?

dont we have to buy plain white shoes at the wardrobe place? do those wear out quickly and are they comfortable cus i hate shoes that when i have to stand for a long time hurt like a mofo...

You can buy shoes at Wardrobe but I recommend buying them somewhere else . Wardrobe shoes aren't very comfortable and the do wear out fast. Which it may depend on which dept. your in also.

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

What are employee's shoes supposed to look like?

Over at KBF its Black leather DRESS SHOES! I had to spend a fourtune to get a good timberland caual/dressy shoe. Knotts does sell them for like $13, but I bet they pretty much stink for park services. Our uniform is park services over here looks so CP esque... Not to mention the foot locker esque games outfit and the new, but very cool foods uniform.

the employee shoes have to be all white, or all white with a very small bit of color to them like a black/blue stripe. white shoes are worn throughout a majority of the park except for live e, soak city they wear sandles, and some of the supervisor positions.

The shoes that wardrobe started carrying later in the season, with some black trim on them, are quite comfortable and I've worn them for about 9 months now...they're showing very little wear. They changed designs during the season, and when I seen these ones, for the price...I went ahead and got them. They're "Riddell" so look for them if you need a pair.

Some depts. like foods have to wear black shoes..Check with your dept. to make sure what color shoes to wear with your uniform.
