I know this is off topic, but has a seagull ever been hit by a Dragster train because they were dumb and tried to stop and rest on the track?

Not that I'm aware of. I do know of a related seagull incident on TTD last year. As we were waiting to launch, a train had come in and needed to be sanitized. The bird hit a man mid-ride. It wasn't pretty. other than the bird, the guest was fine, just startled. The birds, bees & bugs are just part of that enviroment, and in most cases, never go away. Neither will what comes(with them ) in forms of defication.

Part of nature, but their reactions are funny. As always, the job was handled, taken care of, and the day continued. I'm sure there has been worse situations. A big shout out to CP employees for keeping it safe & sanitized!

I was using Internet explorer; when I switched to G. Chrome I got my 9:15 slot.

Hi guys,

I was a member of the Top Thrill Dragster crew in 2013 and 2014. The trains occaisionally do strike all kinds of birds (the entire infield is pine trees). However, they're usually on or very close to the track when it happens so the riders rarely realize it even happened. Just a simple case of some soap and water when the park closes. ;)
