TTD Dreams

I just woke up from the most terrifying dream of my life! I remember being in line for TTD with my dad. He was trying to psyche me out by saying I am too scared to ride it. Everyone in line was a hot girl and all I could think was I wish my dad wasn’t here. I got on TTD and my dad sat behind me for some reason. I realized right before they launched it that I was the only one with no restraints. I remember not being able to breathe as we flew up the tower and everyone started screaming as they went down and I continued floating up. My dad yelled to me “I love you.” This made me think I was really about to die. I started slowly descend to the ground and all I could think is why can’t I remember how to fly? I could see my mom panicking on the ground below me. I saw the pavement and right before I hit it I woke up. Right when I woke up I gasped for air. It felt like I hadn’t taken a breath for 5 minutes. My heart was pounding so hard I could hear it beat. My hands are still shaking and I am covered in sweat. What an adrenaline rush!!!

Coaster King i have had plenty of those dreams where i was falling and woke up feeling like i just died! lol, most of them aren't involing coasters tho, one dream i have had a few times is, going to CP and Riding TTD, but it is a kiddie ride, or it is totally not the real track, but i never get to go on it in my dream, that is the nightmare i guess not being able to ride! :(

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

I had yet another weird dream last night about Cedar Point, although last nights was mainly focused on Millenium Force.

I was at the park (with yet another wrong layout) and for some reason things kept catching on fire. Although there were buildings right around the midway that were on fire everyone kept acting like it was perfectly normal. It was mid afternoon and i went to line up for MF, but when i got right up close to the station i had to leave the line and enter again because someone thought i had cut the line. So i went through the line again and for some reason i had to wear a motorcycle helmet to ride it. I got up to the top of the chain lift and then i woke up. Once again i never actually got to ride anything. :(

No i'm not crazy, i just dream up weird things

For some reason, all of my CP dreams involve the park being surrounded by a forest instead of a lake. I wonder if that is symbolic of something? And like many others, the layout of the park is usualy screwed up for me too.

if i do happen to have a CP dream, which doesn't happen often, i never get to ride anything...

i had a dream the other night that it was opening day but i couldnt find the park. every time i was close the it, i would end up at wal-mart...

------------------
"Will you sprinkle my fries?"

Wal-mart - that is too funny.

I had one about when we meet my cousins there in Aug, we got to our cabin and I wanted to go ride right now but my cousin wouldn't let us till we ate these oysters they were fixing on the grill(?), and they kept falling thru the grill rack. I was so mad at her so I went by myself by Mean Streak and we had to drive these little cars around the park, I made a wrong turn and ended up out in the country. I was upset cause I was going to have to pay the $8 to park again and I wasted so much time.

I had a dream a week ago where there was no one in the park. I had the whole thing to myself. Now that would be heaven.

Gas for drive to Cedar Point: $25
Ticket to Cedar Point: $43
Drink while in line for ride: $3
Travel 410 feet in the air: Priceless

I dreamt that everyone was driven into the park on a big tram and it passed all these dragster themed items on the causeway. Once we were in the park, I had to wait in the white building we thought was the hydraulic building but was actually a waiting area/caretaker home for this Mexican family who was living on-point. I watched the ride waiting for it to open and the auction people to ride and then I finally got to go through this little gate into the loading plaza. People were having trouble with the restraints on the ride and kept flying into the lagoon when it came down or tumbling down this huge tarp strung up between the tower and the tracks. I finally get into the train and this old woman next to me keeps yelling "clear!" except I don't have my seatbelt on, or lap bar down, and I don't want to fall out so I ended up having to crush an aspirin over her head to get her to shut up. Then I guess I rode the ride although I never went up in the air, and I was heading back to the Main Midway to go on more rides.
My dream started in a vast land of my kin and I. We were at SFGA because we decided to go to SFGA instead of CP. So I was on the new superman coaster and suddenly it stopped in the middle of the ride. And TTD was there and the TTD rollercoaster pulled me out of Superman and said, "I am going to destroy you for going here instead of CP". It was a really weird dream. So of course I changed my plans and now I am going to CP. Just in case something from the twighlight zone happens. :}

CP is the place 2b. TTD in da club

Those past two posts are hilarious! In one of my TTD dreams, I was at CP and was in line for Wicked Twister but it was located next to MF! Then, I went to the Frontier Trail but it was some old guy's backyard. I snuck through his house to the Power Tower which was by Snake River Falls and got on it. The PT ride op told me that the view is better by TTD so he put the Power Tower in a pickup and drove it to TTD!!! I decided to get off cuz I thought it would be unsafe. I went towards TTD and there was a HUGE line. I went through this employee gate and was first in line. Then I woke up.

Another time, I was at CP and it was night. There was no one in line for TTD so my friend Mark and I went on it. When we rode it, it was so fast that the top hat packed MAJOR Gs!! We kept riding over and over but the top hat really pressed you down in your seat b/c it was going way too fast!

My friend Mark also had a dream about Vertigo. (Defunct attraction that was by the RipCord-I was fortunate to ride on it before it fell apart) Anyways, in his dream, we were going to ride Vertigo but he thought it was unsafe. I told him that it was fine so he went on it by himself. As it turned out, at the top of the ride, the ropes broke and he flew into Lake Eerie yelling, "I told you it was unsafe!"

Westside7th, that had to be one HUGE truck to carry Power Tower! :) About the tophat, I take it it was inverted in your dream, as you said you were pressed into your seats? As for the Vertigo dream, HILARIOUS! :) :)

Holy crap. . .I just read your post even though it was like a week and a half ago. That is SO funny! The clams falling through the grill? How terrible is THAT! That is so funny though, and it oddly reminds me of dreams I had when I was younger.

Rachel: Hi Pheebs.
Phoebe: Hi!
Rachel: Hi! I just want to apologize. I’m really sorry I was a baby.
Phoebe: That’s ridiculous Rachel, we were all babies once. . .Oh, you mean today!
Rachel: Yeah.

Last night I dreamt I was at CP for opening day. There seemed to be NO line for the Raptor on the way in, so I thought I'd take a quick ride. Got to the station, and managed to get my favourite seat no problem (back seat on the on the right). Turned out they had re-organised the layout of the track, and it was REALLY LAME. I mean, they had basically turned it into a kiddie coaster - no inversions, slow speed...it really sucked, and I spent about 10 minutes yelling at the ride op after the ride.

Then I headed for TTD (by now it was nearly the end of the day - maybe I spent more time yelling at that ride op than I thought). There was hardly any line there either. The station was actually where the transfer track is, and they loaded all 6 trains at the same time. The trains only had 4 seats each. After the pairs of trains had been transfered onto the launch track, it seemed that the "back" train of each pair was facing backwards. I ended up on a "front" train, but we kept rolling back - we didn't get even close to the top of the hill, nit even after 10 or 15 launches. And to make matters worse, I suddenly had to keep this tray of wine-glasses level and stop the wine spilling out over everyone else on the train....

weird....

Me either, I always get there and for some reason have something else to do or get there late. Then right after we get there something happens that we have to leave or I wake up. Ive had 10 or so dreams about going to Cedar Point and am yet to do anything but walk in, start going somewhere and wake up all mad because I didnt get to do anything.

I have a dream about this ride almost nightly...sad I know. But everytime I dream of it, its enclosed in a glass building. Even in my dream I know its wrong, but eh, I go along with it. Most of the time the ride rolls back or doesn't go fast enough at all. The other night I finally had a dream where it was outdoors finally..but the launch was on the wrong side! My only complaint about these dreams is everytime its my turn to ride, I wake up! So I haven't been able to ride yet :(
