Oh sorry, I'm out of it tonite. Well even if the train hit something with the bumper, it wouldn't damage it. The bumper is connected to the steel tubing underneath, the fiberglass fits over the bumper. If it took a hit there it wouldn't matter, the train would absorb it. Look in the picture two posts above this.

None of the links work for me. Without seeing the pics, I would say it probably is cotton or bird crap, but I could be wrong. If it is cracked, I'm sure it's no big deal.

Anyway, i didn't know that you meant that the whole nose was gone. It's back now, and just the very front part is changed. . . if someone might have a pic of that cone compared to another's you can see.
