What damage are you looking at?? That is just those cotton ball looking seeds that fall from the trees there at the park. Look a little closer, it appears to be cracks, but it's nothing but that cotton lookin crap that blows all over, especially in Frontier Town. I'm not a tree guy, so if anyone can educate me on what kind of seeds those are I'd appreciate it. I think I ate a pound of that stuff on the morning MF runs.

It's kind of hard to tell in that picture, but it may just be that "cotton crap"

the cotton trees are not in bloom, looks craked to
me.Itr must be the speed craking the finish!
NOT in bloom?? I knew that was really SNOW blowing all over the place Friday morning. How could I be so dumb. I guess it was SO THICK that I couldn't think straight.
I was ther this weekend. There were some white fluffy things floating in the air. I agree with teegmeister.

I can't access the image.

But I can say there were pleanty of tree seeds flying around (I think that's what they are). My allergies went crazy the next day... that's what I get for not taking my allergy medication, but I was so dead tired from CoasterMania, I just climed into bed and slept.

I think the name of the tree from which the "cotton crap" comes from is called cottonwood. The only way I could think of that the cottonwood seeds would stick to the train is if it was raining, but if it was raining the cotton wouldn't be flying around in the air. Because of this, I'm not so sure it's the cottonwood...but I don't know what else it could be either.

it doesn't look like the cottonwood....i don't really know what it is but it looks stringy.
it looks like it collided with another train and the bumper got pushed in and cracked the body.
C'mon people. It is not cottonwood seeds. Why would the seeds only stick to that spot on the train? They don't. They would stick to every spot then. If it was raining, then there wouldn't be any in the air and if they were, they'd stick to more parts than simply the front. That is a minor crack in the train. Can't you see that it's too stringy anyway? Plus, if the train were to hit something, that's exactly the spot that would give way to the hit. Yes, cottonwood is in season, but that is not cottonwood seed.

If there's bugs on your shirt, you had a good ride.

Those are NOT cracks......

I'm really losing faith in the brains we have here. I'm just gonna sit back and watch the banter, no more arguing. The picture is way too obvious. The cottonwood seeds DO string together like that. If you can't see that those are NOT cracks, then clean the bugs off of your glasses.

If those were cracks, that train would be gone. I don't think CP would run a train with a cracked body. With all the forces that that train encounters, there would be a risk of that thing crumbling apart. CP would not risk chunks of the train flying in peoples faces.
Those are defiantly not cottonwood seeds. I know when I rode the ride last Sunday the front of the dark purple train looked the same. So this is my theory the friction from the wind is chipping the paint because if you look at the damage it’s located where the panel goes from flat to rounded. Now that may not be the case but if you think about the circumstances it’s possible.

If you believe this picture I have some others to show you. Like some naked ones of Brittany Spears and the one of the guy standing on the top of the WTC and the plane flying right at him. I was at the park last week also and the blue train was perfectly fine. Digital images can easily be altered. What I want to know is how the web address got on the track? Are they some sort of sponsor? And finally, how can I buy some space on the TTD track? C'mon people, think.

It looks to me like it is those cotton wood things. When it rains out those things will stick to anything. When did you see this? If it was this week, it could be the rain.

It was shot last Thuesday. Not alot of rain as i recall.

My point is that if you can add a web address you can add some cracks. There wasn't any cracks when I was there. And the argument that it's cotton crap is absurd. This is clearly an attempt to rile people up.
Check out my picture, I shot this last week. http://www.geocities.com/jet91/TTD_and_the_man.html
