This will be a fun first. Wish I could be there for the whole thing but a wedding rehersal and errands on Saturday doth preventith me from going. Sunday is fine.....I guess.:)

People who only pay $30 a month for their phone do. Besides I'd rather surf on my laptop than on a phone.

Does anyone know if it rains will they go past the 5pm shoot time they wanted to stop on? I know the park will be open but not sure.

Well, day one is in the books. Not much got done today. If they had 150 people signed up, only half showed up. The people who did show up today get first dibs at the rescheduled shoot on Monday. The host of the show is very funny. I'm looking forward to seeing it in March.

P.S. They ended up opening the employee cafe for us. Not free, but it was decent food at a very reasonable price.

Right now I'm back at the hotel relaxing before heading back to the park for the evening.

Stupid people not showing up. That makes me mad. Thats a spot one of us could have used.

It did seem like more of a day to hang out with friends in the rain. Maggie was totally kicking butt this morning-WT was fun and I passed on the MF rides. I was going to play in the park tonight, crash at the dorm and go home in the morning but decided to take off to get home tonight. Ive got 5 horses to ride this weekend at Congress and the PBR both nights too (row 3 baby!!! Gonna get hit with bull poo again!!!)

I will be back at taping Monday (have to leave home at 4:30am-yippie skippie) when they do the 4 main ones all over again.
I can't wait for Bert (the hilarious host) to see my CP tattoo--I am sure he will have something to say about it!!! :)

Is that tattoo on your leg LuvRaptor? I think I saw you in the park earlier this year. In fact I think I may even have a pic. lol. I was checking out my camera and it snapped like 12 pics and I noticed in one of the pics it snapped there was a leg with a tattoo of cedar point on it. Showed several rides

Sundays shoot on Power Tower was tons of fun. The host/comedian Bert Kreischer is hilarious. It's funny too because I had seen his Comedy Central special "Comfortably Dumb" just last monday and thought it was hilarious. So it was cool to see him in person.

Yeah, the whole weekend was a lot of fun. Very cold. But, fun. I have a few photos and videos. But, they asked us not to post that stuff or talk about the show until after it airs. As far as I know it's currently slated for Wednesday March 3rd, 2010.

That's funny that they're so protective with the pics. The only people who would see the pictures would be the community here, who will also watch the show regardless of the fact that we've seen essentially the same show probably 10 times.

That's the nature of non-disclosure :) If we break all the details here, there's no reason for you to watch the show.

Like there's any reason to watch now. Are they going to tell me something I don't already know? Not likely, and that goes for most people here.

But, most of us will still watch. And we'll still watch the one they'll shoot in another few years, and the one a few years after that, and so on. :)

Yeah, but that isn't how production companies see it, I guess.

They've been very tight lipped about Storm Chasers on the Discovery, even though plenty of us saw them taping and were out the days they were. Again, it's the same thing - even if I knew everything that was going to happen on the show (I pretty much already do), I'll still watch, however, they think I won't and are keeping it under wraps for the element of hype.

Let's just say... the show is unique.

Don't always compare shows to previous shows you have seen. They are not all the same.
