Yeah, my ideal day would be to spend 9+ hours in the park freezing my butt off, probably mostly standing around, and not get paid for it, and bring my own food! No thanks!

Here's the thing, for every person like you that would demand great weather and free buffet, there are 20 behind you that will do it with the terms that CP has laid out. Its not them being cheap, its you being unrealistic.

I'm sorry, CP is my home park (I live in Sandusky), I worked there years ago, and I still go regularly, but I have seen the quality and value of the park steadily decline over the years, and this one set me off.

If people want to do it, that's fine, but I 'm calling it like I see it. Agree or disagree with me, it's not going to change my opinion, as I'm sure I haven't changed any.

As a reminder, here are the details:

A crew from The Travel Channel will be here at Cedar Point next weekend (Oct. 9-11) to film an episode for a brand new show
The show is scheduled to debut next year, most likely in March
The first episode is scheduled to be all about Cedar Point! (and that is where you come in!)

I hope the Woo Man, Skyward, and all the Single Riders get selected. Now that would be funny! There will be some surprises once 100 of the 150 "winners" realize that they are there to just simply stand outside the entrance just to be pushed out of the way by the Single Rider parade. :)

well looks like no matter what I'm not going! XD I cleared my spam folder a day or two ago after people said they received emails...

oh well. I'm going to be busy anyway with Round 2 of the Halo Tournaments

I have been selected :) all three days! It should be a blast!

I wasn't selected but I hope you all have fun and can tell us about it.

With my work schedule next weekend, there was no way I could make any of the times work, so I won't be there.

For what it's worth, it's looking like we could get our first snow sometime during next weekend.

That would be awesome if they did another hour special on Cedar Point. My "Largest Amusment Park" tape is getting old. :)

Discovery Channel did "The World's Largest Amusement 

Park". I would be happy if they would release it on 

DVD.
