With them being painted, it is extremely unlikely that there will be any altercations.
I sure hope not, or else we might see a chaperone policy in place.
Lol, my phone changed alterations to altercations. Yeah thats it, I'll blame it on the phone.... 🤣
Correct me if I’m wrong. But this pic definitely looks like painted footers on the launch side? (Off to the right side)
If both the old launch and brake run supports are being saved and repainted, I'm thinking there won't be any bunny hills pre or post top hat.
Well damn never mind, I only saw it on the brake run. That really sucks that they are painting the launch side then. All we are getting is a spike it seems.
The reverse spike to me is all the ride needs, and adds a great deal of thrill to the existing ride.
SpeedDemon:
Saw some folks online saying that paint on the launch side supports rules out a switch track being installed
Correct me if im wrong, but I believe where a switch track would possibly be there currently isn't any supports or track. I don't think it can be ruled out yet. Looks like a bunny hill is indeed ruled out tho.
Riding BGW’s Pantheon today. It’s a pretty fun ride and the launches have a good kick to them. A lot more than I expected, even more so than Velocicoaster.
Reverse spike, which is pretty tall (178ft) has cute little footings compared to what has appeared in Iron Dragon’s lagoon. Not to mention much closer together.
It will be interesting to see what we are in for.
So a question I have is, assuming that the track on the top hat remains (and is repainted), will the new track installed on the spike look similar? As in, will it be the box track?
Haha wasn't expecting anyone to know... I guess I am wondering if it will look tacky? if there are two very different types of track for one coaster? I'd say probably not - nor will it be noticeable; as Millennium Force uses both the box track and the triangular track.
Closed topic.
