Tony/Tyler Teasing Us Again...

Of course.

Tony's very sarcastic. I find him really funny. He doesn't mean anything by jokes. That adult film made me laugh, actually. hehe

He seems to have a pretty good personality though.

They probably are going to be like:
"Halloweekends is coming! Werewolf Canyon is extended....blah blah blah!"
I really don't the "news" will be very exciting.

I do not want to be on your bad side. I agree with most of everything you say in all of your posts.

I am just not fond of Public Relations people in any company. I liked Monty's entries on the web page. He was the PM and his rep was on the line and he knows the inter-working of the rides. To me PR guys give updates with no real commitment to what they are commenting on. It may just be my experiences though.

I look forward to seeing your posts in the future.

Thanks

Bill

Monty is very well informed on the operation of the rides at the park and I really enjoy talking to him when he has some free time about different aspects of the rides, but like Ben said, the P.R. Department is the one that has to spread the news and get the guests excited about coming to the park to enjoy the new attraction. Monty is the one who oversee's the construction and makes sure all goes well. I am sure as busy as he is, the last thing that he would want to do is have to do Blog entries to let people know what the next attraction will be that Cedar Point gets. If I am not mistaken, I believe, that Tony will be the one to do the future entries on ride construction at the park and not Monty anymore. Give Robin, Bryan, and Tony a chance, as I think they do a great job at getting the public excited about what the new rides are at the park and when the time is right, if they are getting anything new for next year, we will know as soon as Corporate lets them tell us. So I say enjoy the Blog for what the guy's do, as I know I enjoy the behind the seens tours that they do for us. In case you are wondering, I am not the Tony that does the Blog. Yes someone has already asked me that.

They are teasing us once again with their latest entry about a constuction marking.

Well, by the looks of things, we deserve to be teased about it... Like Jugga said (in new for '06 thread), prolly new bathrooms or some crap...

Boy that's a long time to be teasing since they will probably announce it oh in March of next year.

CP PR staff wouldn't tease us about a new bathroom. I'm taking this lastest entry as a huge hint to what's to come for 2006. This new blog thing is going to be fun.

Remember their "seriously exciting news" about ticket prices? Thats why I don't have much faith about anything really revolutionary being revealed... hope, yes, but no faith.

Anything less than a 500-foot, 43-inversion roller coaster would be less than exciting news to you people.

I'm not made of stone. 20 inversions would make my hair stand on end.

You know, I could see new bathrooms. That really wouldnt be all that bad... seriously.

But, yeah, and now it starts. First a white arrow that looks freshly painted on, and all the suspense... you know, reminds me of the Disaster Transport thing they did. All that buildup for something totally anti climatic.

Oh well. I'll wait and see.

Oh, and by the way, a few inversions WOULD be nice...

Yeah just like how everyone thought the 'serious exciting news' was a huge 83798 foot ride. I actually would be more suprised if this new entry leads to some kind of huge ride announcement rather I think they'll goofing around and it will be their new parking spot or something funny.

Haha, they posted my comment.

Walt, that was the funniest thing I've read here in a while.

They (and us) enjoy reading the witty comments I'm sure. Like my totally retarded, off the wall computer programming one. Or Walts.

They've got pretty good senses of humor, that's for sure.

Were you the one that suggested the totally wacky computer program suggestion to what 12E is?

Though a 500 footer may certainly get me pumped, I really don't want one, because personally, I could care less about records now (not to mention other concerns). What would really get me excited would be good wood that isn't trimmed to death, or a B&M with some inversions. I'm actually a realistic person when it comes to stuff like this, and I'll stick by my prediction of a Top Spin for next year, though I'm not sure where.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Josh: I was the one who suggested the 304 in hexadecimal was the number of trucks used to bring it in.

You're crazy.

Thanks. :) It was the most crazy thing I could think up!

I just think we should build something fun without breaking records. If we did break records and build something in 2007, Let it be from B&M. I'd rather see the worlds tallest Floorless at 190 feet with the most inversions. Another thing I'd like to see is something Cedar Point has never used, and I've said this on a couple other threads already. Lets bring in Interlocking Corkscrews and bring in a floorless that gives us an In-Line Twist. That would be awesome on a floorless.
