How do you all feel about the new music? It was for sure kind of weird to hear all the updated music you hear on the radio in the park. I will miss all the classic songs. It was kind of music you only hear when you're at CP.
Also, question, was music updated ALL through the park or only in certain sections? In frontier town it seemed to be updated country music? Not positive though... Also, the day I went it was not so crowded so was never in line, is que music still all the same? Like Magnum and Raptor 80's music, MF, techno music. etc.?

I know whenever I hear "Ants Marching" by Dave Mathews I immediately flashback to walking along the midway at CP. I liked the song to begin with but now with its added value of the memory it is a bonus.
I like the new updated music! It's more exciting and better for the park's environment. Not to mention that I was really tired of hearing "Sk8er Boi" four times every time I went to the park...

I'm glad they made Maverick's queue music the same as the rest of Frontier Town. I didn't mind the music they used to play, but it got a bit annoying after a while. As for the rest of the park, I didn't mind hearing the same old Beach Boys and B-52's that has been played on the midway since they were #1 hits. Better than the crap that's on the radio now.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I love the new music! I know some of you will probably completely disagree and bash me on this, but I really like current/pop music (I'm a teenager, what do you expect? haha). I do like some older stuff like the Beach Boys, but I think the new music makes the park's atmosphere a lot livelier. My only problem was that disco music was playing as I entered the park my last trip...Not a fan of that.

Personally, I think the new music lacks the connection to the atmosphere of Cedar Point that we all knew and grew to love. Maybe it's just because I have some sentimental value toward the old stuff, but Adele complaining about past love isn't exactly something I want to hear while walking the midway of a very joyful place, or anywhere really. Seems like the old stuff was picked carefully and matched the overall experience of the park. While this year, we're hearing the same songs that play over and over all day long on the radio.
