When are they going to start building the mountains that are way off in the distance? No wonder they started so early building this project. It's going to take all winter to drain Lake Erie!!!

^Great job, Zbusta! What are the dimensions on your mock up...heights, speeds, g's, etc.? Also, I really do hope that is longer than that, what is your "official" time on Maverick?

ZBusta, love the mock up! Great job. Nice way to pass a Sunday morning alone in a quiet Newsroom. Props, bud.
Dead Men Tell No Tales
That mock up isn't complete yet... even Zbusta has stated that there are still several other elements to be put in.
I see lots of footers where track can be laid that Zbusta hasn't implemented yet in his awesome mock up. Therefore, once Zbusta gets a better idea where the track layout goes next, then he'll be able to finish the layout with it being very close to the real thing!!
I for one am looking forward to seeing the completed project that Zbusta is doing... looks great so far and I like the Swan lake section.. that looks like fun!
Here are the specs... The launch is 70mph, the first hill is 165 ft, with a 125ft drop, when it gets to the top of the hill its slows down to about 20mph and hits speed of 60 mph in the drop. good enough for that thrill of climbing over the hill and plunge feeling. The overall ride time is one minute, for now. The rest is still to come. i will update the track as we move along and the ideas keep flowin. The overall area is pretty darn close because a laid out the footers first, to scale of the project area. The swan pond area is pretty close layout of the footers that are already there. So I hope to get more stuff as we go!! :)
Zbusta, I did like the ride very much. But there is a problem for me at least... there are some footer that seem to be coming from the Swan Pond and they head toward the S-Curve, but not go to it. There seems to be some elements that will be going up and over the s-curves (maybe providing some crazy head choppers. Props non the less. The scale is nice btw, closer than what mine was. It was my first NL coaster ever so I have no idea what the scale of it is. The Swan Pond is exactly how I imagined it BTW, just not directly off the start (I see it commin after a second launch).

Yes I think there will be a lot of stuff still to come and also possibly a second launch even, that would be fun, even IF there is a first launch. Or what about a lift AND a launch? But I know it will probably look different and have tons more elements in it. the swan pond thing, I think will also be different entering and exiting, but for now its all i can get out of if with the aerial shots. Its not too long from now we will all know what kind of exciting elements will be involved in this big mystery... Then BRGooDog, Myself and others will be able to come up with pretty accurate mockups of this ride. Can't wait!
I, for one, don't know what to say...

T&T, since you guys are up and all, how about you post something on the official blog that shows us you're real?? :)
You can reply to someone's "comment" though. I even posted a comment earlier today. Just respond to that.
