I went Sunday and had a fantastic time as well. Just curious, what is the transfer gate on MF you are talking about? Didn't even think about asking for re-rides on some of the rides with no lines ( although I should have...).
There is a disabled access gate that allows access from the unloading platform back into the main queue line. During ERT and Friday's early entry, you didn't have to walk all the out the exit and around to get back on. You just walked through that gate and back into the station.
You won't have to pay attention. If it's open, typically 2/3 or more of the people on your train will walk through it and back into the station. You'd have to be completely oblivious not to see it happen.
Either that or you'll be wondering why you are all alone on the exit ramp when you just got off a full train. :)

Got last train of the night for number 40!
I was on the last train too, back row. Where were you?
Also, yes, Mean Streak and Magnum crews were allowing re-rides, which was very nice. I'm glad they used a little common sense.
I was in the back row also (I'm 95% sure..., I rode it 17 times in the last couple hours).
I was wearing a bright orange t-shirt and was sitting on the right side of the car. You are maybe 6'+, young, skinny, short hair if I'm remembering correctly? Small world!
On edit: It was not a single rider shirt! Though my wife had one made for me, I don't wear it. Too many rude single riders (though Bob is NOT one of them).
I was there Friday and it was amazing. We go this same day every year (when they open) and it has always been our one riding day of the year.
I had a two train wait for Dragster, front seat at night. Rode it three times total all walk-on. MF was the busiest all night which was interesting, but only a 2-3 train wait at most that I saw. They had the cut-through gate open at some points so you did not have to walk around.
Walkon everything else in the park. Was surprised to see Raptor ran 3-trains even with only a few people on each train. Got on Mean Streak for the first time this year and was disappointed the trims were on the drop (I read that they were off recently, guess not anymore!). Ride is still same old... Wish they would call up Rocky Mountain and do some work...
Overall it was a perfect day. The storm threat never arrived and was an amazing few hours. Rode everything I wanted with no wait at all.
My final ride count was something like:
3x Millennium Force
3x Dragster
1x Mean Streak
1x SkyHawk & Windseeker
1x Iron Dragon
1x Wicked Twister
3x Raptor
1x Antique Cars
1x Blue Streak
Spent some time in the arcade winning 8 stuffed Despicable Me minions and a pumpkin... Only lost (1) time. Like taking candy from a baby! Enjoyed the $1 Pepsi's as well.
Skipped Maverick and Magnum this trip... They were walk-on though. Had enough Maverick this year with my 1 lap this spring and was by far the worst ride I had ever had on it.
Not bad for four hours in the park! Amazing trip.

^^^Yeah, thinking back, I may have gotten my last few TTD rides confused as well. I was definitely toward the back, if not the back row...I'll take your description (lol), jeans and a dark red polo as well. That'd be funny if we rode directly next to each other the last ride. Or were you the guy with his wife that just had ridden Magnum a couple laps before TTD and were discussing that it was her favorite ride on the Magnum train?
We rode Dragster in the front row. Took twenty minutes in the bathroom to clean the bug guts off of us.
Let's Get Weird.
Your mom...were you on the last train? Were you the guy that went for the front row behind another couple, and the ride op tried to push you to a different row, but you asked to stay for last train and joined up with another single rider?
Nope, I didn't take my wife. It was a guy's trip this weekend, but the other three guys who went with me all fizzled out around 4PM. I told them they were going to miss the best part of the weekend, but they all had lame excuses like seeing their kids before bed, etc. :)
lol I feel you there...I get all the lame excuses too (more and more as I get older..."I need to watch football tonight." Ok, record it?). Only my friends usually bail altogether at the last minute, leaving me torn whether I should miss the best weekend all year or go solo a bit. So, at least yours stuck around for awhile. :)
For the record, I, too, have kids, but did not feel it was worth skipping all that walk-on goodness just to see them before bed. I figured, I'll see them tomorrow! But Top Thrill Dragster, I won't see for another 5 days! (arriving this Friday for HW!)

No we rode it around 8:30. We took the last ride of the day on Mean Streak with an empty train.
Let's Get Weird.
I was almost on the last train. Was 8th in line on the exit ramp but they only called for 4 people. Last year they were plucking people from the exit ramp all night long. This year, there were more people though they were allowing some empty seats/rows.
I took my son and 3 of his friends with me. So I only missed seeing my daughter after school. Took her to a cross country meet on Saturday morning and watched her run in the mud and rain. I end up hanging out by myself most Friday nights at CP as my son and his friends take off running once inside the gate. Have talked with some people about going with me but when the time comes, none of them wants to go. Don't think I ever would have gotten someone to go on Friday night with rain in the forecast and in the skies. LOL
Was anyone there Saturday night at millennium force? I was in the station at closing, let some one skip me in line because I didn't want the red train which seesms rougher than the others, it started going up the lift and stopped just as the last car was out of the station. We waited for about a half hour and it never re opened, however they let us go ride ttd. I thought it was really cool that they kept a whole crew there late just so we didn't feel cheated, it proved to me that Cedar Point just does things right and is by far my favorite park. I've been at Gadv when similar things have happened and they are just let you wait for an hour and say sorry have a nice night. Then when I was driving out of the park around 11 the train was still stuck on the lift with people in it, all I could think was that should have been me :)
