Is there ERT before regular ERT tomorrow? I thought that was just Saturday and Sunday.
Let's Get Weird.
No, just Sat and Sun. No ERT friday other than early entry.
But remember, it's supposed to RAIN! <wink>
There isn't an early ERT tomorrow. However, to get in an hour early (5 pm tomorrow), you need to be a platinum passholder, right? If you use the bring a friend deal for someone who does not have a platinum pass, can that person get in at 5 pm as well? Would seem odd to say that you can bring a friend but they have to hang out for an hour while you go in early. But I haven't seen anything that confirms that.

I'm not sure. But it's supposed to rain this weekend, so everyone should just stay home. I want that transfer gate for MF left open all weekend!
YES!
If you bring a friend they get in early with you.
I guess I'll see all of you tomorrow...in the rain. :)
Let's Get Weird.
From the CP blog:
Don't forget! Any guests with a "bring a friend" ticket are also welcome to the exclusive ride time sessions! Also, regular passholders and any "bring a friends" are invited to enjoy Early Entry on Saturday and Sunday if they attend the 10 - 11 a.m. passholder ERT.
So it doesn't really say anything about Friday night's early entry, just Saturday and Sunday. I'm not getting there until around 5:30 on Friday, so if my friend has to wait 30 minutes it's not the end of the world.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Does millennium force stay open during rain? As long as there is no
T storms? In Sandusky now can't wait:)

So, how exactly does OM differ in "its current spot" from what it was in its former location? It's the ride cycle. It's short, and I'm pretty sure that as a result, the boat does not go nearly as high.
Plus it takes FOREVER to load and unload the boat. Just brutal. All for what seems like a 5 second ride.
By far the worse ride of it's kind (and I've ridden many of these).
OM was always very short and the ride cycle sucked, even when it sat in its old spot. All the flat rides have too short ride cycles and they take all day to load. One time I was riding with my friend on Troika and the ride op didnt know how to operate the thing :0 We got on, it spun around for about 30 sec, but she forgot to raise up the three arms that support the gondolas, and we just spun around over the ground for like a whole minute. When we got off, my friend went to the control booth and told her how to operate Troika. (my friend worked rides before).
Just got home. No crowd,no lines, just like having your own personal amusement park.Gonna go again Saurday & Sunday. MF was get off coaster and go directly to loading platform and get on coaster.

That was perfect....rained for an hour park before opened and then stopped when we were at the parking booth, got back to the car at the end of the night and it started raining again. It was all night extreme ert, me and my girlfriend had maverick all to ourselves for like 20 minutes at the beginning. It was the best time I ever had at the point, hopefully tomorrow isn't too busy

I am so darn jealous of the people at the park this evening. Must be like a private party.Chris
Not exactly. My private party would allow re-rides on Raptor. It irritates teh crap out of me that they would rather send out an empty train than let the 4 people on it ride it again.
Cheers to Mean Streak! They were letting people ride again.
^ it is pretty silly, but just don't get mad at the crew since its a rule that ride hosts have to follow. We usually allowed re rides at the end of the night last year and just had the person sitting at crowd rotate the turnstile however many times the amount of people we let re ride.
It really is a silly rule that needs to be addressed by the park. I unfortunately got to the park late and only had about 30 minutes to have the park to myself...headed right for Maverick.
I walked into the station, and I was the only person riding that cycle! I grabbed the front seat, and I was dispatched with a train to myself (I noticed I was on an off-cycle opposite of a half train of people that kept walking around and re-riding.
When I returned to the station, there was no one there once again. I asked if I could stay on, and I was told absolutely not, so they dispatched an empty train, and I had to make the 5+ min walk around. It was clear that hardly anyone was riding Maverick because of this silly rule; time would be better spent on Millenium with the gate open, etc.
I can't complain, as I got 3 front-seat walk-on Maverick rides in a row, but they could have let me stay on for probably 10 rides, and I would have been an even happier, puking guest. CP needs to empower employees to make the call like the ex-Paramount parks STILL do. On an unrelated note, Maverick crew clearly left the line open an extra 7 minutes or so, even on this dead day, which was very nice.
The whole re ride with no line policy was discussed about a year ago. I think they do need to re consider it. As stated above, the ex Paramount Parks let you re ride as much as you want. I rode Thunder Road at Carowinds a good 8 times in a row. If someone was in line for my row, they allowed me to just move to another row on the train. I don't get why it's such a big deal to let you stay on the train. Especially on a ride like Maverick where it has one of the longest walks around.

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
It really just depends on the crew. I was at Kings Island last month and on Adventure Express they were allowing rerides. Vortex' crew on the other hand was not allowing it.
Over the past couple of years, I have found it to be hit and miss with respect to re-rides. I ask if no one is in my row when I return to the station or if the train has large numbers of empty seats. Sometimes the ride op allows a re-ride; sometimes not. Wasn't able to get one at all last night though I only asked a couple of times. But it was a great night. Weather worked out perfectly (drove to the park and home from it in the rain with not a drop of rain while we were in the park).
Friday was awesome, as discussed above.
Saturday was like a slightly slower than normal weekday during the summer.
Sunday was amazing. Except for Dragster ERT ending after about 25 minutes (mechanical) the rest of the day was perfect.
I ended the weekend with 40 rides total on TTD (without trying at all), probably around 10 on MF, several Maverick, and just about every other coaster multiple times, including Magnum around 15 times.
I wasn't even in the park much on Saturday. Too tired. And busy winning at putt-putt golf.
Overall, I'd have to say from a rides standpoint, it was the best weekend I've ever had at the park.
Dragster was walk-on nearly all day today (Sunday). Got last train of the night for number 40!
