New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

I was at the POINT on Friday and the one Train of the Mantis that was always sitting down tarp over it wasn't there. I asked a few Employees on the MANTIS but they said they can't tell me?

Hmmm............and?

If this, or something like it is coming to CP, I hope that they'll make more out of it, like others have said.

Maybe it was the goofy music, but that ride looked really boring to me.

It's probably like being on a floorless, except the track isnt under you. Or a 4D without the D.:)

I like you logic.:)

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

Just to let you guys know that this clip was confirmed to be official in other sites.

It was done usuing "no limits" with specialy designed trains.

This is the new coaster design by intamin going to port aventura, and quite likley to CP.

As the construction starts down in spain these days we will soon find out if there are more things in common between these 2 coasters.

How was it confirmed?

And does Intamin really use NoLimits to create a coaster presentation?

Brandon

I believe they use NoLimits for the entire design and development process. That, and MousePaint.

Yeah right.

Wow! I don't think they use NoLimits, it's too technical for Intamin. They use RCT. ;)

RCT 2 you can do a lot more on that one.;)

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

I don't mean to start false rumors, and I know people that work at the park don't know what's going on. And maybe this was mentioned before but I couldn't find it. But my friend who works at the park said him and a couple of his co-workers heard the ride is going to open for Halloweekends this year. First, I thought he was crazy, but then I started to think about it and it started to make some sense. They are starting construction on the ride quite early. I know they still have a lot of work to do to get it done by then and it is probably pressing for time. Also I think the announcement date was set for August? Is that what the date was? I'm not sure but I believe it was somewhere around there. Which that date is right before Halloweekends. Now I don't want people to jump down my throat because I'm not a "Coaster Specialist" and as I said before I know workers at the point don't know what's going on. I thought maybe it was possible, what do you guys think?

Announcing a ride 2 months before opening then having it open only for weekends during one month sounds illogical and very unlikely. The early construction more than likely is just suggesting a large scale project.

Yeah right.

Come on,

This is only (as i wrote a few times) just an animation made , probably for the park it self, to show the general concept of the ride.

This is not an intamin proffesional design clip.

Just read before you diss something.

Project 2007 will not be open in 2006.

I've always been under the impression that the designer of the ride (Intamin, in this case) would create the concept, and present said concept to the park, typically in the form of an animation. I have always assumed that they would create the concept using their own design software, which would very likely have the ability to create animations.

Brandon

You are correct about Intamin using softwear that give you the ability to creat animations. But I would think that they have something more technical and advanced than NoLimits. Something that the general public cannot get access to unless they were willing to pay thousands. I am thinking along the lines of what BadNitrus Productions uses to create animations.

If it was opening this year it'd be called "Project Late 2006" not "Project 2007."

Sorry MrScott I didn't know you knew what was being built and when it was opening.
