The Maverick Mist Thread

No more mist. :(

If properly water proofed, maybe you'll see it. No promises though....

So does anybody know if there will ever be any mist ever again? :(

and when there was mist...what part of the season was it in?

Based on what's been said, its doubtful it would come back anytime soon, if at all.

And it was present early on in the season, if memory serves.

I have never seen the mist. I have never seen the firehose either.

The mist was neat, the fire hose was stupid.

Wasnt the firehouse supposed to be some sort of scenery or something?

The firehose is gone because it was stupid. It did nothing but ruin the second on-ride photo.

They'd have been better off with a couple more water canons just beyond the canyon - perhaps having them shoot simultaneously, one on each side.

To their credit, at least they tried for some themed elements.

When you get back from Opening day tell us if the mist is back. Thanks

I have a feeling that it will be back. If it doesn't return though I can live without it. I just hope they bring back the shooting fountains. :)

Oh oops! I meant to say the water bombs. :)

I liked the fire hose.. I thought it was pretty neat and different. I think it'd be cool if there were a waterfall somewhere, where the track went right by it. Of course this will not happen, as I don't ever expect it to, but I just think it'd be pretty nifty.

Yeah, if they could find a way to have water coming down the inside walls of the canyon on the water, it's be pretty a pretty nice effect, if you ask me.

Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of waterfall in the original design? I thought I remembered seeing something like that on the POV video they released.

The waterhose was supposed to shoot the water off the canyon wall beside it and that had a water fall effect but it never happened mush like the other themeing.

Yeah, I remember that from the POV, too. That'd be a really cool touch, but I'm still glad we got as much as we did. :)

I am guessing there is no mist.

I didn't notice any mist on opening day.
