Dad's here. Everyone stop and go to your room.
I am a girl. And I love going crazy at Cedar point all day. I am also a regular, and do put an some makeup before I go there. But I don't care about looking fantastic at the park. I always wonder about those people, usually tourists, who do think CP is a fashion show. I mean, if they want to show off to the public, then do that at the mall. Not cedar point, where you pay admission to get in, and it's not exactly cheap. What are they trying to prove anyway? Why would you go to an amusment park and not ride any rides???
haha Josh highjacked the thread.
When I use the bathroom I will fix my hair. Never my make up though. What's the point when it is going to get messed up again anyway? At CP that is.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
I fix my hair only if more of it's out of the ponytail holder than in. Then I head for the edge of the path, stop walking long enough to pull out the holder, tip my head back to straighten it all out again, pull it back up, and keep walking to my next destination. I go to CP to ride on the world's best collection of roller coasters, not play with my hair.
I also know that I have waist-length hair and it WILL hit the person in the seat behind me if I don't keep it well under control. And ever since riding in the second seat of Son of Beast behind a girl with hair the same length as mine that didn't take the same courtesy ... I'm very aware of whether it's tamed or not. I hate when girls with really long hair ride with it loose on coasters. Because getting whipped in the face by someone else's hair really takes some of the fun out of it.
^with my long hair, I have to have it really tied back or I cannot brush it out! It makes me wonder how some women can leave their hair down and ride rides and be able to brush it out afterwards.
Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
Sometimes if I am in need of a haircut my hair really gets its own character after I get off a fast ride. Makes for some good on ride photos.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I always seem to have the worst hair at parks. Doesn't matter how short or long it is, it's always beyond control. And I don't really care.

If you would have seen my hair at the end of my last CP trip, you would see that I didn't care eathier. I had it in 2 braids, and then by the end of the night it was in tight pony tail because the braids kept on falling out. It did not look nice. If I were anywhere but CP, I would have cared. But nothing matters to me there except getting more rides in. :)
I can relate with you raptorqueen. I always need to tie my hair back really tight. And even when I do that it still falls out sometimes. There is nothing like trying to enjoy a ride on a coaster and your hair flying in your face. Very annoying.

lol, Vince - my husband's hair does that too. After his first trip to KI (he'd never really done a coaster trip before he met me) he now carries a hat to the park with him to cover up the wild-man 'do between rides. I always get a good laugh out of it as we're coming back into the station though.
