As of yesterday, there was nothing new since those pictures were taken.

It looks to me it focuses around the fencing from those posted pictures. Maybe they have plans to do some minor theming updates to all of Frontiertown in 2007. After all they got a head start with Skyhawk and some minor updates in that area. Maybe there is going to be new fencing around CCMR. New queues or something to open up space for a furute flat ride in the location of the current queues.
I don't see why they would need to flag the underground lines, unless they are close enough to the surface that even fence posts could hit them.

LL - why would they routinely survey anywhere other than Magnum? I know they do there to monitor the sinking.
MAGNUM IS NOT SINKING! How many times to people on here need to point out that the park sits on sandy soil about 5 feet of bedrock. The footers sit on the bedrock. I don't remember the last time I sank into a rock..... Well, unless it's an episode of x-files. *** Edited 8/19/2006 5:28:01 PM UTC by MonsterMan***
Its amazing a how a little text can be interepreted as not a joke, or even argumentative. Thats why I don't post often. However, a lot of people still do post on here how "Oh My God Magnum is sinking." I'm sure Jenn regrets the day she ever wrote that in the employee newsletter all those years ago.
Anyways, *looks Up* Wave Wave Yawn, now I feel stupid.
Anyways, another thought that came in my mind about the underground line markings is it is possibly for Wave Swinger. Move the CCMR queues to a reduced length on the other side of the helix, possibly utilize the ramp on the old frontier lift building, and renovate the CCMR building, and cross over. Or save the expense of the renovation, and use the old entrance from 1978 and prior (The boarded off opening which has the slats of wood over it that has written "Cedar Creek Mine Ride"). This opens up the opening in CCMR for a relocated Wave Swinger. I'm not sure how much clearance there is, but it would make from some great experiences. It shields the ride from the Bay winds which cause frequent down time in Spring and Fall. Either it makes it closer for the Antiques and Swings crew, or it's a sign of the doom of Antiques, and combining Wave Swinger and Mine Ride Crews. *** Edited 8/19/2006 5:44:55 PM UTC by MonsterMan***

You should check out the official pointbuzz shirt over at Cafe Press.
I wore that shirt to CP on Wednesday and you would not believe how many comments I got. The Skyhawk Ride Op kept saying "Skyhawk Is Sinking" then "Skyhawk is Crooked". And the Magnum Ride Ops were very interested in my shirt. The guy doing the spiel even muttered under his breath. "He that guy is wearing a shirt that says "Magnum is Sinking". And the Guesser by Magnum absolutely loved the shirt and she called me out every time I walked buy. Thanks Walt for the Shirt!!
