Summer Job 2013

I go to an local community college in Michigan. I applied back in Feburary and Brian Short emailed Me regarding on my application and then I replied back and then immediately after that he called me to ask me some questions regarding my application. I haven't checked the job net until just recently one of the food service manager reviewed my app back in April and it still on job net right now. Im just wondering if they still considering me or are they done looking at my app? Also what do sweeps do? Do they just walk around the park and clean stuff up?

2. How many people are they actually hiring?

3. Is there some job preferences that requires some experience for your past jobs (like retails, customer service, ect...)

5. can you get on the rides for free if you not working?

Last year I applied and I didn't get the job because I put my start date in July so that I can take summer classes in May/June, but that didn't happen and I realize I need a summer job. So hopefully this time My start date would be in first week of May because college ends in last week of April and will start back after Labor Day for fall classes I assume.

1. I dont think they put alot of emphasis on the interveiw. I stumbbled the whole way through. However they are probably listening for any red flags.

2. They hire tons of people!

3. Nope. Usually no experience is needed. They will train you.

4. Yes! Apply early.

5. Yep. You get unlimited access to soak city and the park :)

I just recently applied at the start of this week for a ride host position as my top choice. Did I apply to late to have a chance at getting it? I have already left one voicemail and sent an email thanking the hiring manager that reviewed my application and the full time hire manager about internship opportunities.

I ended up getting my second preferred choice, so you may be too late for getting a ride host. There are plenty of other positions still available though.

I didn't apply until about March or April last year and I was a ride host...

Cool. Well I said I would take any of the 3 choices so that will increase my chances. I know its still early in the process I am just too excited to be patient lol!
