You're very negative.
I've never felt gouged, taken advantage of, or conspired against at Cedar Point. I've also never paid $15 for a sub at Cedar Point, nor do I plan on starting anytime soon.
Discounts and special offers on food has always been a perk of bringing a large group to the park. It's a win-win for the park and the members of the group.
Promoter of fog.
No one is forcing you to eat in the park. I rarely eat in the park. Usually I eat before I go in and that holds me over until I'm ready to leave. If I do eat in the park, it's just a snack like a bag of chips.

No one minds having the park take advantage of a captive audience and charging a premium for the food services. All of the park chains do it, and I understand that for many patrons - it's their vacation, so they pay the inflated prices just to avoid getting sick or dehydrated from a long day in the park.
That said, there is a limit as to what should be considered reasonable, and that additional charge should reflect the quality, portions, and service you would expect - especially when bringing in national chains such as Subway. Fact is, when you get less, and pay more - and accept it for what it is - without voicing anything negative, it's never going to change and likely even get worse.
I also believe that the quality and price of all of the merchandise in the souvenir shops follow this same greedy sort of formula. I have clothing from Disney and Universal for example that has outlived anything purchased at any of the CF parks, and the prices charged for similar merchandise wasn't that different.

Not true. The park cares less about your whining than it does about their data that shows people are still buying food and merchandise at the current value proposition.
......same greedy sort of formula.
You might not have such a "the entire world sucks" attitude if you had a modicum of business knowledge.

I am sure the rent is very high for any franchise that sells at Cedar Point. I wonder what the price of rent is for the season. Any guesses? And where is the Chick Fil A?
