Yesterday, Sunday, was perfect! Very few FL+ users so, the longest line for SV all day was the early entry period. It was 45 minutes. After 10, the longest we waited MIGHT have been 30 minutes.
If this is any indication of this Sunday, I will be a very happy man. The longest wait I will have to worry about is this week leading up to the trip.

I highly doubt that considering Cedar Fair does not have stocks for purchase.

Also, the wait time signs are not very accurate. Always check for yourself before walking away. In my experience so far, if it comes out of the tunnel and into the first set of switchbacks, it's about 45 minutes. That was with 1 train operation and 2 trains with FL+ with alterating trains between standard queue and FL+. Will be even shorter if the FL+ queue isn't backed up. It's been like that with a posted wait of 2-3 hours and it wasn't even close to that.

For those interested:
Cedar Fair is a publicly traded partnership and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FUN. Investors interested in purchasing units must make their initial purchase through a broker.
^^That is not a STOCK...
It's an LP, there's a very distinct difference.

Valravn is the worst handled fast lane ride. Indeed I also saw FL just kept on being let in. Especially a ride with no merge point, it needs to be half and half or switch train to train.
Dragster was made worst too this year, while the line split was there last year, at least there was a person there who let the GP go in the FL line if it was short.
Maverick it's been what it's been but at least I think it gets handled better.

You do realize that when they board airplanes, trains, and ships, they do not worry about what the cheap ticket holders think is fair. It's a class of ticket that is given priority boarding, the park can choose to handle it in anyway they seem fit. There is no NEED for them to do this or that or anything different then how they do it. You wanting it, doesn't make it a need for them. Given that FL system is obviously here to stay, there must not have ever been enough complaining to make them double think their plans.
Also take into account the things the park has done to actually alleviate the lines in main park, CPS expansion and upgrades helps move people out of the main park, the beach activities are enormously popular and give people more to do than just wait in lines for coasters, the upgraded pools at the hotels are also very busy. All these are things that help to move the concentration out of queues and off to other activities.

They say it's best with a strap. I would invest in cargo shorts with good pockets. Or get a floating locker. It's worth it.

As long as it puts the lotion on its skin first.
Or else.

They do mention that as an option during the loading spiel. A strap is a better option though.
Definitely were no short lines today. SV line getting a bit longer here on weekdays. Having mechanical issues probably didn help. Still the same wait as I do think there is a slight gain with 2 train operation.
I did go into the queue shortly before close and there I certainly saw how fast the GP line can move with 2 trains.

When is the best time to avoid crazy long lines for Steel Vengeance on a Saturday as a member of the GP?
