Chief, I recall that thread and was thinking the same thing myself, how many people insisted it couldn't happen and now it has. Twice, in fact.

You want a laugh? Check out this thread...oh so very naive we all were. :) Once again proving that Murphy is alive and well.

Top Hat Stall...what are the odds?

Wow that video is a keeper. You would think that people being on the train and wiggling around would be enough to move it one way or the other but I guess not! There is something amusing about a 25 million dollar ride needing a push, isn't there? CP_bound that old thread is full of good stuff, thanks for the link.

Funny how Jeff said it was never possible. I laughed really hard at that thread.

Jeff is silly. He'll probably delete that thread after seeing it.

"Of course it's possible to stop it... but you're more likely to be struck by lightning with a winning SuperLotto ticket in your hand the millisecond that the planets are in perfect alignment. "

If it wasn't so long, it'd make a perfect signature quote ;)

What are the odds that you get stalled on the ride the exact instant lightning strikes you, your winning lotto numbers are announced, and the planets align? Can we concede that that will never happen? ;)

Wow. now i want a stall.. then a roll-back!

is it always the green train?!

It seems like the green train always goes over the tophat more slowly than the rest. The red train seems to go over rather quickly, in my opinion.

Actually red is the fastest and black cherry is the slowest. this could be due to the age of the wheels on the trains. Black cherry and purple do seem to have more rollbacks than the others.

oh and those seats could be single empty seats because they always are seated to the right of the train and you cannot see those seats in the picture

Makes you wonder why in 2 of the stalls, that the Green Train has been the victim of getting stuck. I hope it wasn't just one person that was trying to push that train down, because the trains weigh like 5.3 tons. Thats hard for one guy to do by himself.

I was thinking the same thing, why didn't someone in the front car, announce to everyone, alright everyone lean forward. It would work except for the back car.
