But none of that matters if the plug won't fit into the outlet! And of course, the European plug adapter has to be imported...and will probably get held up in Customs...

All but one of my computers have RS-232 ports.
No PLC's, though. Actually, during the tour of the hydraulics room on XCelerator, Josh and I noted ethernet ports all over the place. I asked about them, and the employee giving the tour said that yes, they're standard ethernet, and they can plug a laptop in (via a crossover cable, I'd presume, or the port is wired as an uplink) and do diagnostics that way.

I thought CP's mechanics were smarter than that. Sledge hammers are far more effective; if you use a ball peen hammer, you can fool people into thinking you know what you're doing. :)
