well i went for a weekend on friday, saturday, and sunday. On friday night we went over rescue breathing and CPR, things like that. Then saturday morning we did more of that and took a test. But the test isn't really a "test". It just something that they need to have on paper that says that you know what you're doing. Before you fill the multiple choice answers they go over the entire test with the answers B4 you actually take it. Really easy. Then saturday night we worked in the water. You have to swim 8 laps in the pool. You can't swim under water though. Then you have to go to the bottom of the pool and pick up a ten pound brick. But you can't jump in the pool and go strait to the bottom you have to push down with you hands. That was the hardest part for me. After that you have to tred water for 2 minutes without using your hands. (only your feet). Then they go over all the rescue techniques that you use in the water with your rescue tube. and then you do it in the water and test out of it. You do it with a partner. Then you test out of all the CPR and rescue breathing stuff and apply it in the water instead of on dry land. It sounds hard but it's really easy. everyone is really helpful if you don't get it right the first time they tell you how to fix it.
