I personally am excited for the weather this weekend. I'm bringing friends up from the South for Sunday, and you should've seen their faces when I told them to bring hats and gloves. Can't wait to see their silly thin-blooded faces when they get off MF bright and early in the crisp fall weather!
I love snow, I think it will be cool to see all the rides cover in it and see what will happen if it did snow that much.
I don't mind the cold for Cedar Point, I would go to Cedar Point anytime of the year. Just dress warmly of what its going to be like and you should be fine, there is no need to be afraid of the cold.
Also, lets say no one knows that it will snow 10 inches and they are at the park, when the park opens no snow at all just cold, then the middle of the day there is too much snow, what will Cedar Point do then? Close the park then? Will they leave the park open?

I'd like to see you say "I would go to Cedar Point anytime of the year" during the middle of January when the wind is whipping off the lake with windchills well below 0. I can guarantee that it would not be a pleasant ride on any of the coasters.

I used to go skydiving in January. Hanging off the wing of that Cessna in the middle of winter, doing 80 mph, let me tell you...it's ccoollddd. Of course you don't really notice it so much, since you're hanging off the wing of a Cessna. Man I used to be an idiot. :)

Theme park review has a video of them visiting some park in Japan in the snow. It was quite amusing. LOL!!
If its the same one I'm thinking of, it wasn't a light dusting of snow. This was full blown cancel school snow.

Im finally heading to the point this weekend for the first time all year. I just looked outside (Westerville, OH) and its actually snowing...flurries. Im definently not ready for this.
There was almost whiteout conditions around 12:30 this afternoon, but no accumulation.
So basically, I've decided to go all out and actually wear a toque and gloves this Saturday. :)
P.S. No special events this weekend besides Friday's hunt, right?
I just got home from work and experienced white-out conditions. My car said it's 32 out. There's actually a nice dusting covering the grass and trees.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I read that wrong lol. 32 is well above freezing in you're in Canada. That would be a very nice summer day. Living here in Windsor we get Detroit news and radio so I go by fahrenheit rather than celsius.

Ohh you saw my original post eh? lol I feel like an idiot. I read it again and got the joke. My bad. :)

See, this is why the Metric system is worse than the Imperial system. Even those that live with it don't know how to use it.

I know how to use it, I just don't care for it. :)
I've always thought Fahrenheit was more accurate, anyway. Big difference between -1 and 1 Celsius... it gets annoying after awhile.
Vince: There was a dusting, but it melted in about 5 minutes.
I was on the 401 right at the end (beginning?) as it turned into Dougall and I couldn't see 10 feet (3 meters ;)) in front of my car. It was actually blowing across the road. After that though the clouds went away and the sun came out. The wind, however, is still here.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I don't think that's really a whiteout, not without any snow cover.
Here's a good picture of a whiteout (and another here). With the horizon indistinguishable, the driver loses all sense of perspective.
It was definately snowing today in Toledo...and cold too.
