I was also thinking that as well. It should not take more than a day or two, let alone more than a week to install a new webcam.
I bet they are hiding something.

Getting the park ready for the coming season is probably a little higher on the priority list then installing a webcam.

most likely
This time of the year is the busiest for the folks in the office, from what I understand. They are getting everything (rides, attractions, entertainment, staff, promotions, etc.) ready for the upcoming season - and they have only 25 business days left to do so.

well djDaemon you have a point but i think there is something fishy going on because tony and tyler said that it would be back up at the end of the week a week ago. Here we are one week later still with no webcam they MUST be doing something fishy with it! *** Edited 4/2/2006 7:38:13 PM UTC by CedarPointRocks***

OMG, why is everyone thinking there is something huge going on because the damn cam is down. Just settle down and wait. You can see it all when you go to CP this summer.

because we are suspicious
The only thing that has kept me from dismissing this completely is the problem with the Funcoast cam that LIVE mentioned. Still, though, I hesitate to think there's anything out of the ordinary going on.

oooo ok thanks
Yes. But here... you unplug the old webcam, move it. Put in the new webcam, and plug it in. Easy. Not much more to it. That takes, what... a few minutes. Not a week.
Maybe you should call them. Sounds like they could use your help.
You'd better be ready for a full 40 hour week in your webcam assistant position, 'cause that is T&T's only responsibility - installing webcams. Every hour of every day.
;)
Brandon
My argument is... is that it takes only a few minutes. If you're gonna take the time to bring it down, why not install the new one?
If you don't have time to install the new one, then why take the old one done when you're not ready? *** Edited 4/2/2006 10:27:44 PM UTC by Keith 2005***
