First Aid Wheelchair? What the bloody H^*L is that crap? You don't use a freakin' wheelchair to get people form wherever they are to first aid.It is a lot btter to use the same thing CP does.I hate SF they suck big time.Who would want to go there?

Go Check out SFGAM for a great Six Flags. Clean, freindly opps, Great and I do mean great collection of rides. I think they have a better quality collection of rides then CP even. Raging Bull, Viper which is an awesome awesome woody, AE, Demon and Shockwave (I Love Mega Loopers) Whizzer, B:TR the first Invert, Iron Wolf the first B and M, V2, Deja Vu. The quality of these rides is just great and the landscaping is beutiful. SFGAM is the only park I have been too that even comes close to touching CP Six Flags definitely got something right there.

Welcome back Magnum riders how was your ride?

Magnum Force,

This is why I continue to say that the Six Flags parks that were "Six Flags" before Premier took over are generally better than the "new" Six Flags parks.

To me, that is the best indicator that Gary Story and his gang are not workers of magic.

Six Flags is horrible. I only go there once a year because I'm on the homework honor roll at my school (yeah I'm really smart.) I could not believe how dirty this park is. There was trash everywhere, and I didn't even see one employee emptying trash cans. On Serill Thriller they only had one train running (that made me late for check in with my teachers and they weren't happy) I've been going there once a year for two years in a row, and both times that I have been there they were not running raging wolf bobs, and they didn't have ANY of the ride on photo booths open. Last time I went I wore my big mf shirt and when it rained I brought out my big bright orange king's island poncho. (the ride ops looked at me funny) They didn't even check my restraint on double loop so I really don't trust them. As for the whales; DON'T GIVE LIVING CREATURES TO SIX FLAGS!!!!

My favorite Six Flags story happened on the Villian platform. I was waiting in the queue for the last seat, right by one of the ride ops. It seemed like there were a fairly large number of family groups with young children on the platform. One of the young children, maybe 8 to 10 years old, just tall enough to ride, asked the ride op if this ride is good. The ride op answered in a loud voice for all to hear, very proudly: "Man, this ride will kick your ass!" I really had a good laugh to myself, and noticed that his comment raised a lot of eyebrows!

It's very hard to drink all day...
Unless you start first thing in the morning.

The vast quantities of HATERADE consumed by posters to this thread are amazing. What suprises me most is the comments by Steph and friends relayed via Jeff concerning the 'facilties' of the habits. Are they not the self same facilities that were in place before the donning of the SF moniker? Perhaps the 'vet' situation is different. I honestly dont know. But I recall a comment regarding the sizes of the tanks and whatnot and that just didnt sit well with me.

It was meant to be a joke NOT to be taken seriously.I in truth do not doubt that Six Flags fans visit GTTP I infact visit Six Flags site and I am a huge CP fan.So next time you see something like that ask the person who said it if they were serious instead of jumping to conclusions.

Sure, they're the same facilities, but that doesn't mean they're maintained as well, Jeremy. I'm no expert like my wife, but I was able to very plainly see that the Penguin Encounter up here was very unclean compared to the one in Orlando. Sure, they are birds, and they do seem to crap continuously, but even I could see the difference.

"As far as I can tell it doesn't matter who you are. If you can believe, there's something worth fighting for..." - Garbage, "Parade"

I visited SFWOA last summer. I have to agree with most of the responses. Dirty, rude/lazy employees, and bad food to name just a few. I did like BKF, Superman, X-Flight, and my favorit ride there, Villian. What I did notice is that the park could be great. It can't hold a candle to CP but if SF puts some time & money into this place it could be so much more. IMO, take out the entire wildlife side and fill it with rides. It seems they are unwilling or unable to take proper care of their animals.

It's always been my experience that any business, including amusement parks, are only as good as the management and employees. Both Geauga Lake and Sea World were very clean, with friendly employees when I visited them the year before SF bought Geauga Lake. The wildlife at Sea World looked very healthy, the tanks clean.

Who is to blame for the complaints I'm reading on these forums? These are the same complaints that I've heard ever since SF took over Geauga Lake. Other SF parks get rave reviews about cleanliness and friendly employees. So it's unfair to blame upper SF management. That leaves the local management and local employees. If CP is hiring from the same market that SFWoA is, then why are CP employees that much better than SFWoA?

I believe the problem lies with the local SFWoA management. Even a GOOD employee can become a slack off and lazy if their working experience is not a good one. Morale is everything. And some not so good employees need constant supervision and direction to become good employees. It's my opinion that until there are some major changes in SFWoA management, these complaints will continue.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

I really wouldn't say get rid of the Wild LIfe side anf fil it with rides. That would upset me more. After all it does have potential. If you get rid of a section of a park which already poorly maintained then fill it with more stuff to be poorly maintained. If that stuff is rides then you have your self a lot of deaths waiting to happen. I think Six Flags should just sell off the wildlife side. Save the animals. Plus if I remember correctly they do have an agreement with local resident to not put rides there. There are people whose back yards are the parking lot and such. I remember reading an article about SFWOA trying to put a 200 foot coaster in the old sea world and the local residents petitioning it down. As long as those residents stay on top of things I'll be hayy with SFWOA the way it is now. I just may not visit the park.
