Opening Day 2015 : Rougarou - Front Seat!
GateKeeper is going to have a pretty high capacity. It's a B&M with 3 trains! FastLane isn't going to drastically increase the size of the normal line...

No the park does sell out of Fast Lane. Especially on Saturdays during Halloweekends and during the better part of the summer.
08 -Thunder Canyon, 09 - Maverick, 10 - Mean Streak, 11 & 12 - Mean Streak ATL, 13 - Maverick TL
On the Ok Ok Alright-I-must-admit-Cedar-Point is freaking awesome page, if you go down to November 8 and look at the status, "Question, how long do you think the line for GateKeeper will be on Opening Day", they say Fast Lane will not be available on opening day as of right now in the second to last comment.

I sort of feel like that's citing Wikipedia though.
2010: Millennium Force & Mantis
2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper
Where does it say that on Wikipedia?

I was implying that it's not a valid source.

2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper
Finally! Somebody that realizes Wikipedia isn't a reliable source.
Also keep in mind, that Wicked Twister was originally supposed to be a Fast Lane ride this past season until they changed it to Mean Streak. Anything can change at any time. Even a week before the park opens.

Who's bright idea was that. :P

I know this is un-related, but according to RCDB, Ocean Kingdom's new wing coaster is going to be called "Flying Over the Rain Forest" and it will have a height of 164.1ft. Since the height of Gatekeeper will be 170ft, do you think Gatekeeper will be faster? If it is, it will be the fastest wing coaster.
It might be the fastest B&M wing rider, but Furious Baco in Spain has an 80+ mph, so it destroys by GK and China's new wing rider.
Furious Baco is "technically" an Accelerator coaster, which is what Dragster "technically" is.

Gk will be have the longest drop and run the longest. And It's technically the tallest. I don't consider WE 212' since you barely come 100' off the ground. It's actual height was never released, there is simply 212' elevation change.
To be "technical"
GateKeeper will be the:
Tallest Wing Coaster 170'
Longest Wing Coaster 4164'
Longest Wing Coaster Drop 164'
Fastest Wing Coaster 67 m.p.h.
Most Inversions on a Wing Coaster 6
Tallest inversion Ever 170'
But in all seriousness, lets not split hairs here. Numbers are just numbers. The ride looks awesome, just because it can't claim a few records makes ZERO difference to me.
I'm not sure if your trying show a difference between "rider" and "coaster" but they're the same model. B&M used to call them Wing Riders but they changed it to Wing Coaster.

Whether it will be the tallest or not on opening day, in the next few years there will probably be another wing coaster somewhere else that will be 175ft tall just for the sake of beating Gatekeeper.

Very true! And I'm going to venture a guess and say that park will be a Six Flags park :)
Also, Cedar King, if by WE you meant WT (Wicked Twister), then watch a full cycle. It reaches higher than 100'. And the towers stand at 215'...not 212'. Just saying ;)

WE = Wild Eagle. Wicked Twister isn't even the same coaster type. Surely you'd think I'd have more sense than to compare two unlike coasters. :)
