Can we just call it a ride and enjoy it for what it is? Pwity pwease?!
If only it were that simple.
I say we compromise and call it a coaster. Cedar Fair seems to have taken that stance.
I think calling that thing a coaster is cheating and looks over-reaching. It seems to me more like an expanded Ocean Motion type ride than anything else.

What is it cheating? ..... it as a credit? from what I can tell most people won't care if you call it a coaster or not. It's up to you. I'm not going to count it but it won't bother me if someone else does. Matter of fact I don't know why it bothers anyone really. A ride is a ride and it's there to simply thrill people.

Cheating on their coaster count if they think this helps up their status. I really don't know where they stand on it now and how far behind they are on "roller coaster capital of the world" but I say it's a big stretch on this ride.

I'll go ahead and sound the alarms. There's no way that we as humans can possibly live on with this atrocity taking place. :)

You sir might be the first person that I've met that cares about someone else count

"Cheating" for lack of a better term about it. It would make my eyes roll if there was a bragging promo about the number of coasters including this with it. To clarify further, I don't know where THEY stand on *wanting* to hold the record again because they sure used to advertise it when they did or how far behind they are to begin with if they wanted to compete again in that manner. *I* don't care where they are on their count.

I don't care about the number of coasters in the park. All I care about is that the coasters are good. I think PS should not be considered a coaster, it's more of a flat ride.

Valravn Rides: 24| Steel Vengeance Rides: 27| Dragster Rollbacks: 1
The manufacturer's web site has the ride in the coaster section and calls it a Disk'O Coaster, so it must be a coaster. Though the CP version doesn't have a disk, so it must be a Non-Disk'O Coaster that is a coaster even though it is "non". :)
Not that it matters, all that is important is if it is a fun ride.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

The current park claiming the roller coaster title Magic Mountain pads their coaster stats with 1 family and 4 kid coasters. This is nothing new I don't care what the hell they consider pipe scream.
Well according to this (towards the end) it will count towards the coaster count.
^^The intro to Coaster Crew videos..makes me cringe..so..awkward..
Plus on mobile it's a waste of time loading nothing

It is as much of a coaster as Wicked Twister, IMO... Same thing to a much lesser scale.
But in the end, I don't care. :)

The general public doesn't know or even care what ride it is classified. The park is more focused on improving the overall guest experience.
For anyone that cares, I noticed on the webcam this afternoon that the first blue pieces of track were put together. Looks nice.
