The next opportunity to find out if the ride is fixed will be on opening day. Either it will be running, or it won't.
I suppose there is a possibility the question could be asked at an off season Q & A session, if there is one this year. Otherwise, wait for opening day.
It all depends on if enough patrons memory has faded enough to forget what closed it in the first place.
If it's quietly reintroduced with the "oh, it's all fixed now - never mind" attitude the PR department's damage control did it's job.
It could be a bobsled/luge run today! That way the new mandatory helmet rule could be quietly introduced!
You would think Cedar Point would at least mention something in their On-point blog about off-season progress with Shoot the Rapids? If not now, maybe closer towards May they'll mention something, at least that's what I'm hoping for. I won't say anymore because people will be annoyed with me.
