The smooth swooping and looping of B&M
Fight the Shapers . . . Join the Resistance . . .

Although I have yet to see a B&M experience downtime I can't vote against the most creative coaster company.
Intamin
Definately Intamin. They just have so much more creativity. B&M is really also quite good though.
Thrills Around the Corner!
Intamin.
But, they both have their strong points. Both are pretty smooth, but I have to say B&M is more so. Intamin pushes the envelope while B&M sticks with what they know best.
Intamin all the way!
I do like B&M and even though a great deal of their coasters are clones, there are some that are just far from clones and some that are just plain cool designs. Coasters like Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Black Mamba, AIR, the recent Crystal Wings, Dæmonen, Hydra the Revenge, Nemesis and my fav, Tatsu are examples of fine B&M work. My least fav is Scream.....I mean come on! http://www.rcdb.com/ig2169.htm?picture=27
But my favorite coasters are by far Intamin coasters....not to mention my all time fav is an Intamin.;)

I would have to say Intamin. I've been on lots of coasters, but the Intamins are the ones that stick out in my mind as being really memorable. Except for Hulk, as someone mentioned. That shot out of the tunnel totally took me by suprise the first time.
Some people have issues with the reliability of Intamins, but I'm all for trying new things. And new things tend to break.
Oh, and I've joked about Kingda Ka being built in the middle of a parking lot, but wow. Just wow.

In all fairness, that isn't B&M's fault.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Hold on, let me explain myself better. I dont like Scream for 2 reasons.
1.It's a copy of Medusa
2.parking lot coaster
None of which is B&M's fault since the blame goes to SFMM. I never place the blame on the manufacturer when it comes to clones(like Ka...........especially Ka).

I remember reading a story about someone riding Scream on its media day with Mr. Mallard(sp?). Don't quite remember what was said or implied, but yes, only SF would be stupid enough to do such a thing. Tearing out the concrete and planting grass or even just let it be dirt, or rocks, or something other than a old parking lot with the lines still visible. B&M's coaster are to good for that.
Sorry, WAY off topic.

B&M gets my vote based on nothing more than my love of Raptor.

I already gave my vote, but SkYhAwK, this is Pointbuzz. A Cedar Point forum. CP has two, soon to be three of Intamin's finest most notable work. When almost 100% of the voters here have been on MF many times and saw TTD in person and of course, Maverick has made some presence on us the past few months, the vote is obvious. B&M did a great job with Raptor, my second favorite ride in the park, but Mantis suffers a lot and doesn't do much for B&M when talking to a CP crowd.
Honestly gomez that never crossed my mind. It probally would have been a closer vote if I did it on another forum. But anyways thanks for the help!!!

I don't understand peoples dislike of Mantis. I truly enjoy that ride. To all you men who say "it gives much pain down under," if you sit/stand the right way, it makes the experience much more enjoyable. Mantis rocks.

When it comes to wooden coasters, the only ones I like are the "old" ones. I think that today, when people build wooden coasters, they try to recreate the rickityness (for lack of a better word) and you end up with headache inducing nightmares like MS and Hercules at Dorney.

Rickety? Nah.
Granted there are some out there, but the good outnumbers the bad, for sure.
