School Project

My buniness class has a huge project going on right now. What we have to do is take two companies that build products with the same simularities. One of the things that we have to do is a survay by asking people which one the think is better and more professional. The two companies that I want to do are B&M and Intamin. The reason why im asking you guys is because knowone probally knows what they are. So if you could just vote and say either intamin or B&M that would be awsome. If we get over 100 votes we get extra cedit.Thanks for the help!

I think that Intamin is better. I like B&M, but I still think Intamin makes better coasters.

Intamin, they have so much more creativity, unlike B&M they do alot of the same elements and don't tend to give many different rides. Although B&M has more reliability, i still vote Intamin!

You're talking about two of the most inovative and arguable the best coaster manufactures in history. Both share traits while they differ in other traits.

B&M coasters are reliability machines. Their coasters are engineered very well. One thing to note about reliability is the lack of change you see from coaster to coaster. B&M are called cookie cutter coasters, because almost every one of their rides has a loop, a cobra roll, a corkscrew, etc.; but they're all placed differently according to location. To end them off, every B&M is smooth as glass and finding an accident/injury on a B&M is rather difficult to find.

Intamin makes quality coasters (a look at any top 10 list would show this), but they have a share of problems. First off is their reliability. Before I give examples you should note that Intamin coasters are far from the cookie cutter style of B&M. Every ride is custom made for the park (minus the clones, but that has to do with money) and has a lot of updates and new technology packed into each new ride year after year. CP is on the forefront of Intamin's 21st century revolution. Starting out with MF which shaped the way many see just how tall is tall. TTD as we know, was something people didn't think was possible when it was built. Finally, Maverick is bring a few new or at least much more advanced things that we have yet to see on coasters. This allows the rides to become popular among everyone. No one has seen anything like it before. Now back to reliability; new technology brings new problems, end of story. Safety on Intamins can't be explained without debate so I'll leave that out.

I like both, but Intamin has shown so much originality and has made so many changes to how we see a standard roller coaster I have to pick them. They're on the forefront of industry.

At first look, there really is no comparison. Intamin owns. The variety of rides they have to offer is unmatchable. The best coasters in the world are Intamin's.

I love B&M, and the decision is tough, but there is a reason why Intamin coasters popping up everywhere around the world. The reliability issues are the only thing that cause me to give it a second thought.

A hesitant vote for Intamin. However, I feel more positive about this than the vote I cast yesterday. That's saying something.

I Agree, that Intamin is better. These coasters seem to be more unique and suprising than a B&M. Although both styles are great. Intamin is just my preference.

I see a lot of people liking Intamin, but as I stand, I prefer the quick turns and smoothness of B&M. Until Maverick the Intamins I know are pretty straight forward out & back, few air time hills here and there. So until I ride maverick I have to say B&M have better coasters today.

It's a tough decision, but I'll vote for Intamin.

I already gave my vote, but SkYhAwK, this is Pointbuzz. A Cedar Point forum. CP has two, soon to be three of Intamin's finest most notable work. When almost 100% of the voters here have been on MF many times and saw TTD in person and of course, Maverick has made some presence on us the past few months, the vote is obvious. B&M did a great job with Raptor, my second favorite ride in the park, but Mantis suffers a lot and doesn't do much for B&M when talking to a CP crowd.
