My son, who is almost 10, is afriad of heights but loves rollercoasters! He went on MF for the first time2 years ago and top thrill last year for the 1st time. (Gotta love height requirements!) He is always paranoid things might collapse so if it is standing still, he doesnt like it. Ferris wheels he doesn't care for. We went to Kings Dominion last week and I had to con him onto the Eiffel tower LOL He kept saying, "what if it collapses?" LOL He also won't ride power tower. I tried to get him on the yellow/red side but forget it. He won't do it. Oh well, as long as he will ride the coasters, I am fine with that! Oh yea, he hates walking up alot of steps. He throws a fit all the time about walking up the steps to the water slides at GL bc he can feel them moving.. ugg crazy kid!

I always ride the right side seat on Magnum also. The long slow trip up the lift hill drives me nuts. Every time I ride Magnum I like it even more. The quick trip up MF's lift hill is a lot less scary to me. MF's height does not bother me as much as the slow trip up on Magnum. It would be cool if Magnum had the elevator lift like MF.
I love the slow lift on Magnum. I wouldn't mind if MF was a little slower. :)

I have one of the biggest fears of heights.
I literally cannot even climb a fence, but I can ride any roller coaster you put me on.
They don't bother me one bit, and I honestly don't know why that is.

I hate riding sky ride, but then i love it. I can just imagine the car falling to the ground.
They won't fall when I'm around. But I do love riding with someone who is terrified of it. That goes for most any ride. My best ride on Millennium was with my grandma. Trying to make her let go of the lap bar while going up the lift made her freak out. Then on the way down, no problem with her hands up. Crazy lady. *** Edited 4/17/2007 9:58:56 PM UTC by t_biggs***

Might not be a bad idea. Might give the crew a bit more time to load trains. ;)
I'm not afraid of heights at all. If I had the oppertunity to climb (well, ride in the elevator) up Millennium Force's or Dragster's Hill, I would in a heart beat.
I do not like Feris Wheels. When I was younger at the fair my Dad would rock the thing back and forth and I felt like I was gonna fall out. I really don't like them at all. Gimme Power Tower, Stuck on the top of Dragster, Lift Walk down on Magnum, but no no no Feris Wheel for me.

I re-thought my afraid of heights statement earlier. I don't know if I could handle "Walking Down" Magnums lift hill after it got stuck and would need evacuated (from as close to the top as it could get without going over).
As long as I am in the coaster train, seatbelted in, I am fine. It looks fun to walk down, but I don't know how scared I would be.
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
Oh, yeah, I don't think I could walk up or down one of those hills, either. That would be my limit, easily.
Looking forward to Cedar Point- July 4th-5th, 2007!
I'm pretty sure that wouldn't bother me. Of course that is easy to say sitting here at my desk in my nice comfy chair with both feet on the ground. Being at the top of Magnum's hill and looking down that long set of steps just might change that! :)

I don't think anyone linked to it yet.
Here's Tank's Anatomy of a Magnum Walk-Down from opening day last year. That should give you a good idea of what you're in for if the train dies on the lift.
