That could be. I rarely wait for first or last row if the lines are more than 2 trains longer than the second or next to last rows.
The Ride Warriors on ride video event a couple weeks ago was the first time I'd done front row of Millennium Force in at least 5 or 6 years, and that was only because that's the only row that had the GoPro set up for recording.
98% of the time or so, there's no crossover between ERT and general public. ERT takes place before the park opens or after it closes (at least for enthusiast events I've been to), so there's no crossover, no choice to make between hitting the ERT line or the GP line; they occur at separate times.
The Williams Grove event was part of a larger ACE event, so that brought a large number of riders to a very small park, hence the longer wait for ERT than for the general public.
I was at Kennywood once (it must have been part of the same event, as my mother and I were taking one of our epic road trips; she was at both parks) and a morning ERT session was scheduled to end after the park had opened. GP guests were held at the entrance until ERT was done.
Speaking for myself, if a park is allowing re-rides without leaving the seat unless someone is waiting, I'll take a middle seat every time.

And even before the person could react to what I said, Ron interjected saying "I've been on it over 1200 times this year." I just stood silent for a second and said (not sarcastically) "Well, I would probably have a lot more if I didn't live 2 hours away in Michigan." He followed, in a very condescending tone, with "Yea, well I live in Michigan too and I still make it here everyday."
Clearly someone who would be awesome to hang out with, and super interesting to talk to.
Cedar Point is pretty great, yes, and I've even been at this site now for almost 20 years. But, you know, a one-dimensional life would be pretty boring. People like that are why I've identified for a long time as an anti-enthusiast enthusiast.

I may be wrong because I've never been on the last rides out at the end of the day either, but do they restrict the number of queue line riders in the station who can wait for front row when the line is dwindling near closing time?
Yes, once we get to a very low point of riders left, we will make an announcement that we will only be loading x amount of trains for the rest of the night, and say if theres more than y people in front of you, please move to a different row.
For what it's worth, we were probably within the first 20-30 people in the Maverick ERT line and I think everyone in front of us went into the front row station queues once that line was opened up. (We did the same!)
That was the first passholder ERT I've worked, and I encountered every type of guest in that hour. From the really appreciative guests, to the woman who yelled at me that the line wasn't opened right at 10pm for the ERT. Overall a fun night.

If you ride a ride over and over, is it really that bad to cheerfully cooperate and move to a different row to fill the train at the end of the night? Some so called enthusiasts I believe have issues outside of what is experienced at an amusement park, I think some professional psychiatric help would be a good idea for some.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Ron is beyond professional psychiatric help !

It's interesting to note that he drives a really nice Ford Mustang. I assume he cuts people off all the time and disregards the speed limit. :P

Yep,new Mustang, got it last year. Then you find out it's a 4 cylinder EcoBoost, then the first thing he says 'I got Airaid intake, adds 20 horsepower !

I'm not up on car talk; what does "...it's a 4 cylinder Eco-boost... 'I got Airaid intake, adds 20 horsepower'" mean?
I'm seriously curious.

4 cylinder Eco-boost is Ford's marketing speak for saying its a 4 cylinder engine, but its ok because its a turbo. The 4-cylinder Eco-boost is good but not what you think of for a muscle car. The Eco-boost 4 has slightly more power and better fuel economy than the baseline v6 in a Mustang.
Airaid is a company that makes intake upgrades like better flowing air filters and cold air induction kits, which can increase horsepower in most cars.
A guy I work with bought a 4 cylinder Eco-Boost Mustang. We call it his My Little Pony. He drove a Mustang GT with a proper gas guzzling rip-snorting monster V8 shortly after buying MLP and instantly regretted his purchase.
ROUNDABOUND.
Ron's Mustang is rated at 310 HP(not including Airaid 20? HP. It's rated high 13s' in the 1/4 mile. I'm waiting for an opportune time when he starts bragging so I can issue a challenge to show how his mouth gets him in a bad situation. Pony car vs Pony car. His 310Hp vs my 305HP. His Airaid vs my SLP CAI. I'll even drive to Michigan to race him at Milan drag strip. His high 13 1/4 miler vs my stock HP high 12 1/4 miler. My 1998 Camaro Z28.

The Ecoboost isn't very good for racing. My 05 GT is rated at lower HP (stock) and runs low 13s. Sticky tires makes 12s pretty easily. The new cars are also fairly heavy.
Maverick since '99
That's why I wanna see if he says something he can't back up. He's already inferred that his stang will beat anything I have. I sold the 11 sec Yamaha 600 about a month ago,but still got the Z28.

Or both of you vs. my 'Busa ;). I'll enjoy both of you in my right mirror hahaha.
But in all actuality I will probably be selling it to go down to something lower. 1200 is nice, but it's honestly terrifying to ride at times because it has so much power. One of the very few bikes I've been in that you feel like you're actually holding onto while accelerating.

Too bad the new sports complex didn't keep one of the old runways in tact. You guys could've raced there!
BUSA,what all other sportbikes want to be !
To 'the devariouseffect',stock swingarm or extended ?
Gotta ask Ron if he received a letter from Ford as to when they're gonna install the other half of the motor !
