I've seen pictures of that. I would pay good money to walk across the rock bed before the cliff if it was offered.
Not to close though, heights aren't for me unless there is some track involved ;) If anyone out there hasn't been, go early spring or fall and get on the Maid of the Mist, it should be a walk on. Something you will never forget!

As for enthusiasts in general, one of the main reasons we don't attend ERT nights is because the running, pushy coaster nuts who think they have priorities. I feel bad for any "regular" pass holder who also attends, for them to get shoved aside just so some nut can get his/her 1,000th ride on (insert ride name here) and brag about it forever.
You can find any number of these enthusiasts over on the drone morality or RMC mean streak threads, they will happily lecture you on your poor ethical and moral choices on [insert subject] in the most hypocritical manner possible.

So what? If someone wants to break their own ride record who cares? Some people like doing that. I don't see anyone pushing and shoving other people around. If a ride attendant calls for a single rider, a person is allowed to occupy the extra sest.
Your right, you've never seen it, so it doesn't happen...
Then again, i've never seen hasher, so that must mean he doesn't exist, nor do his posts :P
It's a shame that our group (coaster enthusiasts), have those "bad apples". Throughout my travels, I've attended many events. For the most part, everyone is great.
During the years when I was visiting CP 30-40 times a year, I never felt I was entitled anything. I just enjoyed being there riding Magnum all the time. It is fun getting to know employees and other guests. I got the occasional re-ride, but never asked. It sometimes surprised me when they would tell me to stay on. I would never brag about it or mention who was working. Like Matt said, I don't want to get anyone in trouble. Same with trimless rides. Ride-ops can get in big trouble for doing it. Sure, I might have asked for it sometimes. But didn't complain if I didn't get one.
As for counting, some of my friends do it as a personal thing. I know I did when Magnum first opened. But after about 800 rides, I quit. I felt it took the fun out of it. I still do daily counts on rides just to see what I can handle. Voyage has been the toughest to marathon!
At 46, I still enjoy seeing what I can handle. I don't do it as much now, as I am usually with someone. Last time was couple of years ago at Holiday World. I can't get enough of Voyage. Wife can't handle more than couple of rides, so she hung out with another friend as I stayed on Voyage all day to try to hit a goal.
Funny thing is when I was a kid, I thought I was hot s*** when I rode Double Loop at Geauga Lake 10 times in one day. Now I just laugh at that!
Power-riding at CP has pros and cons. It sucks to walk around. But at the same time it is good exercise. Especially those stairs! You really feel it for days afterwards!
Most of us are there for fun. It sucks that some of the regulars are so rude with other guests and the employees. They should know better. From experience, Ralph, Henry and Dave are good people. I've ridden with Ralph many times, as he loves Magnum as much as I do. They (along with others) don't ask for the extra attention. Sure, they might get it. But that just happens when you visit that often and are seen at one ride most of time. But some of these people want it and get bent out of shape if they aren't recognized. I once heard a person say, "I've been on that ride just as much. But I don't get the attention or tv time he does." I have to bite my tongue as I just want to say "But you're an a$$!"
