Made my first trip to the park on Tuesday. Took some pictures of the work being done from the railroad tracks. The RMC crew was working on positioning and installing track inside the structure for the third inversion.
Here is some info about the announcement event:

Are they removing some of the structure, placing the track that is running "inside" and then replacing the structure they removed or are they just "snaking" the track pieces into place
They snake it in, which is why this project is taking long. Thats the reason they do all the bracing last so there's less in their way.Out and back coasters they can do a lot faster.
Interesting point that I pondered in regards to future themeing and name of the new MS 2.0 coaster, especially thinking of the quote that Jason McClure stated in regards to loving the park's history. Think of the nod back to Prof. Delbert and also Crystal Rock Cafe just in the year 2017.
Anyhow.... there are a few on this forum that remember and/or have seen pics of two past attractions from the 1960's era of Cedar Point. One would be a Wells Fargo horse drawn stagecoach ride that used to be back in Frontiertown for the 1967/68 seasons. (A similar one is at Knotts BF currently). Also...there used to be bandits/outlaws that would attempt to "rob" the CP/LE trains back in the day. Passengers would be given and were assigned "sheriffs" badges to ward off the would be outlaws. Its known that alot of trains/ stagecoaches starting from 1870-1902 had attempted robberies from outlaws trying to steal money from them. I'm definitely thinking the new trains/ name/ or themeing might fit one of these two nods to CP's past. What about an added stagecoach ride to where Antique cars currently sits? Thoughts?
