Snake River Falls is probably going to be the next one to go. It does one drop. I mean, Cedar point will still have two water rides left. I think they should put in a ride like the Poltergeist at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It is a good and fast ride that takes up very little space. Fun for mostly all ages!

I wonder if it's the same thing he posted in this tweet. For all the historical Cedar Point enthusiasts, when was that logo used? I noticed it on the Antique Cars when I was at the park the other day.
They look different to me. The one in the blog is black with a red ring around it while the tweet is more of a mahogany
Poltergeist is a one train op premier ride wheras cedar fair already owns two of the same design albeit with a mcbr in two parks, it's called flight of fear.

I kind of wanted to add to this topic. I don't have any ideas about rides that might be removed next, but something to help improve the beach/boardwalk area. I always thought it would be cool to see Cedar Point incorporate a kind of dancing water/dancing fountain to the lake like the Belaggio Hotel in Las Vegas. Maybe have a show play every 30 minutes or something. It would liven up that area if you ask me. Any thoughts?
Was on millennium and I looked into the main control booth at the white board.

Is this the end of Mantis?

Maybe the white board at Mantis says "Millenium's goin' down" LOL it could just be the crews messing with each other or maybe they know people look at those things and they're waiting to see how long it takes for the rumour to take hold.
Lol, probably rides screwing with eachother. For my Corkscrew ride night, we dressed up with black shirts that we wrote PWX 2012, Demon Drop, ect. (after everyone knew PWX was ganna be taken out that season)...we got lots of "awwwww really"'s haha

I think CCMR needs to go soon.
Also, Antique Cars, Cadillac Cars, and Turnpike Cars are all the same thing. Why are there three?
Also, CCMR, Corkscrew, Gemini, Magnum, Maverick, and MF are all steel-tracked coasters. Why are there six?
;)

And don't forget that Thunder Canyon, Snake River Falls, and Shoot The Rapids are all water rides so why do we have three.
No, leave the arrows alone :P I don't care if they're little cars with honda lawn engines in em, they're fine :D

Yeah, leave the cars alone. They're a great thing for families. I have memories of driving my mom and dad around. Now my kids are doing the driving.

Yeah, most likely it's nothing significant, but if it's true I'd be happier than when the demise of DT was announced.

With all the trouble on Skyhawk, I'm thinking that may end up on the chopping block. I never got to experience it, but after hearing what was supposedly the sound of the cable snapping while I was waiting for Maverick today, I'm afraid to go on it now. Since it's new, I'd hate to see it go, but I'm all for safety. And I'd hate to see the park spend so much money on it.
Bonesville needs some serious attention. I don't think it should be removed, but it certainly needs some updating - as it hasn't changed since I was a kid (umm, and that was at least 39 years ago). Animatronics have certainly improved since that time, and new lighting effects at night, or attraction tie-ins (a new section with characters riding coasters for example) would be a nice enhancement.
A long time ago, there were small pop guns attached to a few seats in the trains that kids could use to fend off those ghouls. But I think they were removed after being deemed not politically correct for todays youth. Perhaps some sort of light wand activated features could be added to enhance the interactive nature of the scenes.
It certainly shouldn't cost much to make such changes, and the railroad is one of the big hitters in ride count already - but I think that it's high ridership numbers are mainly due to people with sore feet or excess baggage (strollers, etc.).
Hows about Bonesville get some background screening? Its pièce de résistance, the burning village, has Mantis zooming by in the background, looked awful from day one of that coaster. Perhaps tall arborvitae or something that can be clipped and won't spread too wide and as best as it can be, I know it can't cover the entire height.

When did they remove Wildcat? I haven't been to CP or really on these forums either in a few years.
Last year to make room for bleachers for Luminosity. This decision was made only weeks before opening day of that year.
