I seems like a no brainer on being able to just roll on new paint onto an existing coaster. Remember how bad Mantis looked in just a few years with the purple supports turning chalky and almost greyish? The repaint that Mantis received made it look absolutely incredible about 11 years back and held up much longer than the factory job. I remember when Serial Thriller at Geauga lake was renamed to Thunderhawk and fully primed white and then repainted. I wonder what the decision process is that involves a roll on paint job or full priming and then repaint?

Here's one of Mantis with orange track. It didn't turn out very well though.
