Ill see you at the park. Stop by an see me and my crew do work!
By the way, the block set up is not designated in letter like most, except in number.
1:Station 1
2:Station 2
3:Station to the bottom of lift (exit track)
4: Bottom of lift to top of lift
5:Top of lift to the end of trim brakes.
6: Trimbrakes to station (entry track)
The ride allows us to GAU down the train once the entry track is clear but dispatch doent become enabled until after the loop. This makes dispatch intervals lower then higher capacity rides. You also can't have more than one moving train in the station at a time. Add to the extra time off GAUing up and down the train and the constant rechecking by the computer (Making sure GAU pins are are all locked, along with each individual hipbar, rachet and vest pins.) This makes "interval dispatching" almost impossible over and over.
1. Yeah but you won't know who I am, anonymity will make this amusing
2. Ooo...we changed from letters to numbers omggggggg
3. This system proves exactly my point. Some things I'll get for safety reasons to an extent like dispatch enable after loop to make sure of a cleared block and not just a discrepancy, however dual moves & stuff...yeah that's the PLC setup being lame and a failure. It doesn't even have to be dual moves like Intamin has done and kinda taken away, but one train starts moving, then very shortly after while both move the second starts (like say, dispatch, wait a second, release ready brake advance train on safeties at entry into station. That can't and won't happen because again, it's a Vekoma

Thats my point. The PLC on the ride is a failure, not the crew. That ride is pushed every single hour to the max it can possibly put out capacity wise. Firehawk is a complex ride to work, with unique restraints and ride structure. Do operationals happen? Sometimes, in very odd circumstances, yes. Everyone is human and makes mistakes. They happen at Cedar Point too. But 29? No. 20 in a day? No. 10 a day? No. 5 a day? No. 2 a day? No. 1 a day? No. Safety. violations are very rare and usually happen with newer associates still figuring out the ropes.
Firehawk aka X-Flight was a train wreck when it was at Six Flags Worlds ofAdventure. Where is your 3rd train? Oh right, it was cannibalized for partswhile still at WoA. Perhaps thedevariouseffect is right on the 29 number butnot for safety violations. 29 "issues" with the ride is certainly apossibility. I know some of it’s history as I worked at WoA in 02.
