I am planning my first coaster trip for the '04 season and I think it's going to be Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Paramount's King's Dominion. I can't wait to ride Alpengeist and judge for myself. I remember that poem the first time around, man does time fly.

There was an article in Rollercoaster! this past issue about the history of B&M. They were all like "Busch really is the home of B&M with the best inverts. Montu for those who like intese and Alpengeist for those who like big swooping."

I was sad... Raptor is so much better.

The theming of Alpengeist gives it the edge here, in my opinion. The rides to me are pretty much equal in fun/intensity/etc...but the theming gives it that little edge that raptor just doesnt have.
