Good call on 2002 there DJ. Although there was that first ride night... Then there was our good friend error #30.

Make sure the headset isn't on mute either. I think that might have happened a few times. Best of luck this year. The 10th year is as good a time as ever to beat the original numbers.

Hello there folks!!! I was on the 2003 crew of Raptor ... Lauren whats up girl miss you like whoa. Here is my advice to those of you working on the crew in 2004. First off you have the best TL and ATL...so don't give them any crap! My advice to you is to hit interval every single time or ELSE!!! Your TL can do the entire train and hit the interval by himself....your ATL well as you will soon find out he is just as fast as your TL but has a little bit of a temper don't mess with him....I would at least hit 1500 every hour if I were you. Second...learn the speil. "Welcome to Raptor. If you have LOOSE ARTICLES PLACE THEM IN THE BOX. CEDAR POINT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ARTICLES. DO NOT THROW YOUR ARTICLES FROM THE TRAIN and we can't take the article from you (IF THEY DO DECIDE TO THROW THEM EITHER HAND THEM BACK AND MAKE THEM RIDE WITH IT OR HIDE THE ARTICLES) Here at raptor we are going to take you up 137, drop you 119 at a 45 degree angle, we are going to flip you upside down 6 times 4 different directions (which is more than any other ride here in the park) you will be reaching speeds of 60 mph. so sit back, relax and enjoy your ride here on the raptor." when they return ask them how there ride was...then tell them to exit the train quickly. Thirdly....HIT INTERVAL the day moves faster and people are happier and to be honest with you have so much fun it you are moving fast so I said it once I know move like you never moved before you should hit 1500 every hour!! and finally....be nice to my freeway spot. If poeple are putting the black ink on que bars wipe it off and make it look nice. People are going to ask you at least 400 times in 30min what "Freeway" is. Be nice to those people they can't help it they checked their brain at the door. And if you try to be like me and stay at Freeway for hours upon hours you will be asked 1000x's (you know i should have counted but I never did hmmmm) anyway the black ink is really messy and is really hard to come off so don't play with it.

Oh the headset please do be gentle...you will like Unload one after awhile as long as you aren't going 4 x 4...

The 10 o' clock laser light show is actually at 10 o'clock....go figure

ya i knew tami had it first- now it changed to mike and donnie- u know this part of the season always make me so dizzy- i think last year the raptor crew changed like 5 times- lol that is cedar point- placiong people is actually more chaotic then the actual season sometimes-lol

I am sure Raptor will run fine this upcoming season, and all you 2004 Raptor crew will rock. Just make sure a guest illness is not all drama. Get it cleaned up FAST, Park Op keeps tabs on how long you are down due to guest illness. Dont mess around. Get that train cleaned and out of there in less than 2 minutes.

hey raptor crew!! and new raptor crew!! unfortunately I will not be there during the whole season, I am hopefully gonna come to work weekends, since i'm living out here in cleveland w/ an apartment and all can't really leave, and i dont wanna pay for aplace i'm not living in....so if things go to plan, I think i might just come and work bonus and halloweekends, but i will be there during the summer....hope to see and meet all of you!

I just received my contract and I'll be working Raptor this summer! It's my first season and I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and doing the best on my part to uphold the tradition of the crew. Wow..I can't believe I'm coming back!! I worked Raptor back in 1999...the final year for an all male crew, and this year is going to be better than ever! I am really looking forward to meeting all of you.. Anyone interested in having a pre-season party or something? What a blast that would be :) Hope to see you all soon!!

I know that Im still planning on showing up.....I dont think that April 19th could come soon enough.....I found out that some of ya'll that worked on the Raptor last year might have worked with my brother Eric. I didnt know until today that he worked on the Raptor.*who knew?* but I cant wait to be part of this fantastic crew. See ya'll April 19th.

IF you worked at another park, i'm sure you dont want to throw everything you learned out the window but all of us are trying to help you and thats the best thing you can do!

Hi Melinda! I got so excited reading this thread to see who was coming back this season!! I can't wait to to you guys! :) Tell Jenn that little "thng" we discussed last season will be happening in May. As for me returning this season, I will be riding Raptor and not running it. With 5 extra horses, and more horse shows planned then I care to admit, NO way would I have the time. Not even just Halloweekends! :(
But you'll see me at the park a few times I'm sure!
