It looks like we have some great people on the Raptor Crew this year, especially since three former Six Flags ATL's on the ride! Anyone else going to be there?

What time does the water show start?

Well I'm not on the crew, I'm only 16, but one of my friends from school who is 18 will be working Raptor this year. (Traci, Christa's sister ;))

No Kidding Jeff. I'm very excited about being placed on Raptor, because I realize it's at the front of the park, meaning the Raptor Crew may be the first and last place guests stop when at Cedar Point. It's an excellent oppourtunity to make an impression. Whether it's good or bad is up to the Crew.

ya good luck to the crew- you have an awesome tl and atl in mike and donnie. you do have alot to live up to. 2002 is still RAPTOR best year. have fun with it. and have fun at entrance- a bit of advice for entrance in the morning send them up early if you can- so Knauf don't have to come over. He is watching in the morning-

correction dj 2003 had the best raptor crew...hey all lauren here, i just wanted to officially welcome you to raptor crew. i am a returner from last year and lookin forward to another year. they were right, you do have a lot to live up to...we are known for working a ride that everyone wants to work and being a crew that everyone wants to be on. but don't let that intimidate you...and just some advice for those of you comin from SFWOA, throw everything you have learned out the window, and get ready to start fresh!!! trust me. i am lookin forward to meetin all of you and havin a great summer, hopefully DRAMA FREE...right DJ??:) and dj, does that mean that mike or donnie is my atl?? they're comin back?? alright peace out hookers, i'll talk to ya'll lata

Now you KNOW it's not possible to have it drama free... I mean come on.. season hasn't even started and already you've gone through one TL. hehehehe

Word of advice to the new people, don't mess with the headset. ;)

Hey, sometimes (most of the time on Mantis last season) it was the headset that was bad....and it's not our fault that Tech Services gives us bad batteries ;)

The 2001 crew was the best ever!!!!!!!! Second only to the original crew. We always had good batteries, except the one time they sent an entire box (100 batteries or so) that were all bad.

Hmmm, well, I don't think I'll do that. I spent alot of time up at Batman Knight Flight, so I have a pretty good idea of how Beemers work. I learned alot at Six Flags, and even though they are the "competition" now, I would never forget the lessons I learned at that park. I understand your operations department is much different than the one in Aurora, but nonethess, two years experience at a park should not be taken for granted.

ttd 72 rides (2 nonpaid rollbacks, 5 paid rollbacks)

That and this B&M has been overhauled since it's original install by Consign and modifications made by CP's own Controls department.

Plus, it's not the controls that are probably going to be alot different, it's procedure and having seen how B:KF has been run the past few years.. Take thier advice.. Forget alot of it.

i am sorry chris- i just gotta say no- 2002 all the way- we were fun, we had a great tl-nothing taken away from jim and higbie- we were better than the 1st year- and this years tl will be a good addition. and with my experience with 6 flags i know the addition of the 6 flags ppl will be good- and rob is right cedar point wouldn't be cedar point without drama-
