Quick Question

I'll be arriving Sunday, May 2. Once I process, will I go right into training or will I just get my room and have the night to unpack and stuff? I live about 6 hours away so I won't get there until about Noon-1pm.

For me last year you process in then the next day you will do all your training.

As a returner, and depending on when you arrive, you process in. Then I went to my department, wardrobe, drug testing, back to my department for training. I was done in about 2 hours total (with all the stuff and seeing some friends real quick). Then it was off to move into housing. I still had time to go back to the park, get some rides in.

Process in on the first day, and began working on the second day.

just be ready for alot of runnin around...the thing that sucks about processing in (and out for that matter) is there's no easy way to do it...you have to run all over the place and there's no straight way to go about, but like mantis brian (hey hooker) said, it takes about two hours. and then later that day, you'll have a quick meeting and then have the rest of the day to do whatever.

It may take longer than 2 hours especially if there is a line.

One thing they don't tell you, at least I was never told, is that you need to process in the day before your contract starts. So, if you can't start working until (I'm just picking a random date) May 13th, you should start your contract on May 14th. Otherwise, if you have it starting on May 13th, you'll be expected to process in on May 12th.

they set up your start date according to the published end of classes. if your schools last final is on may 10th they will not schedule you to start until may 12th (to the best of my knowledge). Remember this only is a factor if you are not scheduled for weekends prior to you full time start date. now this is how rides does it. in other departments you may find that it works differently and you should let them know ahead of time before you return you contract because it is a legally binding agreement
