The PT is the only ride I am terrified of. I try to avoid the PT as much as possible because I don't like it at all.

I agree! The PT is seriously the only ride that has scared me to DEATH! I've ridden the Drop Zone @ Kings Island & PT is much, much more frightening! The fear is almost unbearable... When we dropped every bad word in my vocabulary came out! It's a great ride, but for me... it's only a 1-timer. Have fun, future riders!
Ive been on the space shot side but not the turbo drop side. im going to cedar point in a couple of weeks tho. does the drop side give you that massive stomach drop feeling all the way down. i dont really like that feeling.
Now might be the time to point out the delightfulness of Allen's sig line above.
I know it's not a haiku, but I wish it were.
I sure hope he's off finding greener pastures of METAL.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
I wouldn't say massive stomach drop, but it does drop, its a great ride if the line isnt too long and they are running all 4 towers. At the top, don't hold on to the restraint, put your hands out and get ready to "free fall" or close to it.
When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835
I find the "burst" of airtime, while more intense, much more short lived than a traditional drop ride. Ill take the 6 seconds of floater over the micro-burst of ejector air any day. Id replace PT with a huge Intamin 3rd gen tower without even thinking about it.
Plus its way more intimidating to climb up there and have the gondola do a 360, showing you everything around you and how high you are. Then just letting go.
