Like Craig and Nick said, your training on the day you process in is pretty much just watching videos, and yes, your JobNet page will offer more details to the whole process when they get updated.
However, it basically goes something like this...Go to HR, get ID and fill out paperwork, go to Park Op and get drug test form, go to First Aid, take drug test, (if you pass) go back to Park Op and give them the form. At this point you'll watch the outdated training videos and then head to Wardrobe to get your uniforms, then you go to the tolls to get your parking sticker, and then finally head off to whatever housing unit you're staying at and fill out some paperwork there.
After that, you're done 'processing in' and you won't really do anything else that day. I just kind of walked around the park last year with some friends, though if you do that, be careful. ;) The week before the park opens, there are a ton of vehicles driving around like mad men on the midways trying to get last-minute preparations completed....and THEY get the right-of-way!
The day after you process in, you'll head to a department-wide meeting/training and after that is completed, you'll head off to your ride. More than likely, your first day at the ride will be spent filling out paperwork.
Anywho, you wanted to know the first couple days, so there you go! It's a lot of paperwork! :) But, use that first week to really get to know your crew, because they're the ones you'll be spending the whole summer with! I read countless posts and heard from countless people before last season that the people you work with will be like your family. I didn't think I would be the type of person to feel that way to co-workers, but that all changed really quickly, and now, I miss my crew more than anything, and it breaks my heart that some of them aren't returning this year.

My processing in didn't involve much of anything. I just had to go to Human Resources for a short time, then to Park Operations to fill out a couple papers, and then to wardrobe and that was it, the whole thing took about an hour. It depends on where you work too.. but I'm assuming your at a ride so it will be a little different!

Rides get test ridden every morning. During training week (the week before the park opens, it looks like you'll be there for half of it) you'll start learning your ride. Once the ride gets its state seal, part of learning the ride is test riding so that you can get an idea of what it normally feels and sounds like

One thing you do is watch three movies that desperately needed an update 10 years or so ago. :)
What are you talking about, those are the best movies ever! I personally enjoy the go-kart scene, as well as the cooler one. :)

I was just going to say, "the cooler video is my personal favorite." :)
Why Ride Hosts need to deal with coolers and not Park Admissions, I'm not sure. :)

The videos are a fun way to test your knowledge of "recent" history of Cedar Point and other big parks (not all of them were shot at the Point). And yes, some of the scenes are so stupid they're funny, but you'll feel like you're back in high school watching old educational movies in class.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
What's even more fun than watching the videos is the thought of owning your very own personal copy! Yes, that's right, First Steps in Ride Operations, Concession Go-Kart Operations, Coping with Difficult Guests, and Disability Etiquette, can all be yours! :)

Haha now I wish I would have gotten to see some of these videos! I don't know why admissions people didn't have to watch any videos about dealing with guests.. or I didn't anyway.. but really I never knew what to do with coolers when people brought them other than to say they couldn't come in the park. One guest had left their big cooler inside the office by the resort gate all day and I didn't even know what to say I was just thinking okay I guess it won't hurt to leave it here.. another time someone left theirs outside the door and it was there for a whole week one time.. I kept forgetting to take it to park op!
