Zbusta, I guess you are gonna do somemore work seeing how what you put together is now not correct with the second inversion in place. I do have to say that is some excellent work.
Ride-on
Heres an updated version of Zbustas old mock up. It is current as of today 8/30/06. I just kind of threw it together but thought some people would like an update. Enjoy!
*Edit: I also added some white dots where alot of the footers are just because they can get kind of lost in that jumble of supports and such.*

I think it's cool that the swan pond part of the ride is the most mysterious. No one knows how tall that part is going to be...
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
You can get a great idea of the height of the swan pond area just by looking at the footings. The stubby supports go on the single footings over by TC and the taller "buttressed" supports go by the Wave Swinger.
I would even go as far as saying we'll see another roll when the lower track passes under the taller track. (Like we've seen in the S-curves.) There are four footings packed right on top of each other making me think two are for tall supports and two are for stumpy ones. So, the track would have to be angled away from the tall supports. But, to go around the curve in the pond, the track needs to be angled towards the center of the pond. So, it would have to "flip" right at that transition.
I think their is more to come.
If you look at the aerial pics. There are still more footers through out saying that their is much more. I think we are just seeing the lower stuff then they will build over that. Bottom up makes sense.
anyone else think there is more?
I think there is plenty more. I also think there will be more footers. There are a few places now where they seem to dead-end at the paths that the construction vehicles are using to get in and out of the site.

I agree with you but I can also see a zero-g-roll in the "buttressed" supports diving down to the low supports by the water.
Does anyone have an updated overview photo (the aerial shot with the red line) with all the track up to date installed?
I added some green track to steve4hockey's mock up. The green track is what looks the me the best possible way the track will go atm. Looks very boring though..
Besides that, i added some ugly purple round thingies near the bottem, there are small footers over there leading in the outside-project area direction, what use of them?

once again sorry for the bad paint job ^^.
Btw, about the swan pond part, i think it will go up, drop down, almost touch the roadway and then go up again. still dont know why there is a square support in near the top of the swan pond though.
Agree, and also that there is a hill either over or around where the current straight track is going. It appears that near the lake there will be a hill of some sort.
The trains have been on-site since the October 26th photo update! Look!
Mark
I think you put that in the wrong thread.
And I don't know if those are trains (hard to tell from that pic).
Its an awfully odd place to have the trains sitting while construction is going on.

Actually John, I think someone put that picture in the right topic for once. :)

Sorry, I should have let it go on a little longer. If only you could've photoshop in some plastic wrap going around them, then it would been more realistic.
