Call Intamin. Retrack it with prefab. Then the banner on Mean Streak might actually be true. :)

How easy do you guys think it is to reconstruct or alter a roller coaster?

I think they should make a new Indoor Coaster and get rid Disaster Transport and put it there.

They don't need to get rid of DT, they need to finish the backstory and repair some theming. If a few of the theming bits weren't so laughable, it would be a great experience. The trip to Alaska doesn't really work - why go from Ohio to Alaska through space? Travel to Jupiter or something cool, tweak some of the theming, tone down the dayglo effects and they could really have something! DT is a great first ride for kids, a great ride for families, and a great way to get out of the heat.

I agree, I rode it when it was Avalanche Run and it was awful then. By enclosing it didn't help it any more than costing more than the ride itself.I can see in the future that they will tear this ride and Demon Drop down in a few years for then next tera coaster.

If they do, they will probably be idiots and bulid an intiman indoor coaster. Thats Cedar Point for you.

Did I spell this right??(intiman)

Idiots?? I like Intamin coasters... they have a higher thrill factor and are more crative than any other coaster maker. But I do agree that CP is in need of a new B&M maybe?

The point of the story is that youre supposed to be going to space. But after the first section something goes wrong and you go "out of control" then you crash in Alaska.

Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.

I am almost sure that they say as you board "enjoy your trip to Alaska." I thought that you lose control, but of course, everything is okay and you make it to Alaska anyways. All of the old posters in the first queue room featured destinations on earth, many in the US.

Eh, I'm not sure. Like I said in the first post, there are so many holes in the backstory that it is hard to tell whats going on.

They also need to do something about the middle room which is also used for a HalloWeekends attraction. It is just so obvious that you should be seeing much more than you are. Perhaps a dropped tile celing above the "chute" to conceal it a bit?

wow man - that is a great video. I think you're missing a big section of the ride, but what you did is awesome!!!

i really think after the current inversion, the track will turn and go UNDER the station and lift hill, then come back through and end over that into the station. otherwise i think you got it right on.

great work man. LOVE the editing too. :)

Thats good. But I think that it might be a little to fast towards the end of the ride, but thats just me. I think that it would be awesome to have a launch then major airtime on the first hill.

Keep up the good work.

Great job!

But if thats all it is going to be, there are going to be alot of disappointed people out there with all the hype this ride is getting. I'm still hoping that this is just one part of the ride, it just looks way too short of a ride right now. I mean their last 2 coasters were very short ride experiences, time to make another 2+ minute ride IMO.

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

I know there is still more to come i just made it with what they already have put together, there are parts missing i know, but with supports that are up, thats all i can really see right now but i know there is gonna be a LOT more to this ride and differences from my ideas and I will update the Mockup as they go!!! Thanks for the compliments :) I do it for the coaster nuts like me!!!

(This is in no regards to all the mock-ups in the thread) I'm sorry but so far the layout is blah compared to the other rides at the park and I know more than half of you kinda feel the same way I do right now...

Great job Zbusta, thank you. That had to take a ton of time to do, and this coaster enthusiast thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't help think of WW still - we'll know for sure shortly.
